Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at casters now!

I'm not going to go so far as to tell an artist that he's going to "ruin" something, but Indy's adam's apple should be clearly visible, as seen here:

The shirt collar on the 1/6 Indy is bigger and the giraffe neck is needed or it won't look anything like your pics. Even with Kato's shirt the figure will still look neckless if the head is left as it is.

Do you want a neckless Indy or one that looks right!?

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at casters now!

So the option of getting a head that hasn't been drilled is out then ? Well I'm out too. I've been waiting ages for this to happen as I'd considered this to be THE head to use. I'm giving up on my custom Indy then, the body /parts etc that I'd shown earlier in the thread they are will be up for sale in the commerce section later on if anyone wants them. :(

Not necessarily, you could always ask for yours not to be drilled, but best ask now or you might be too late.

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at casters now!

I'm sure Mark will do the heads either way dont panic.

Maybe make a list and copy and update with your name on it for drilled or not drilled.

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at casters now!

Sounds like a course correction is needed or this will be all for not.

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at casters now!

The drilled head does look like it might be sitting too low. I'm not sure how to check that or get it perfect.

Is it going to be possible to get heads that haven't been drilled. I'm down for 2 traditional and 2 smiling. I may want one set undrilled if possible. Thanks for all the hard work!

I want one that I am happy with, but I'm going to be a lot more tactful in how I go about saying what I think to the people that are making it happen.

I've paid my money, as you repeatedly state you haven't put a dime toward this project, so maybe a little more tact and professionalism to those that are actually doing the work will get you the results you want.

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at casters now!

I think it looks great! Can we get a shot of a drilled head wearing a shirt?

As far as the head possibly sitting too low now (once fully clothed), has no one thought of just filling in the hole (clay/resin/wax) just a smidge so the head will sit just a bit higher? Doesn't seem very difficult to me. :dunno

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at casters now!

Caution the following picture may result in geeks voiding their bowels :lol

He is on the narrow TT with sculpted neck and fits prefect IMO :)

From what we can see here, it looks really good with the head positioned the way it is in Pete's pics and looks a bit like it might be too far down on the bare chested pic IMO. Having said that, seems that as long as it's just a deeper hole that you could do an easy mod to push the neck plug you insert down to get the head to fit higher on the neck. After all, drilling a head for a TTM-19 means drilling a space for the neck adapter you will have to provide on your own, correct?

Re: WGP's RAIDERS Jones- at casters now!

Ok, sorry about the tone of my earlier post, I got a bit over anxious a bit too quickly.

We can see in the above post that Karamazov has made that the sit of the head didn't need adjusting, I've used the same body as Pete has and you can see there how the shirt collar looks. That has to be factored in when judging the neck length.

Even when the TTM-19 was released loose it was said that the head sat too low.

Provided adjustments are made, or at least provisions for us to make adjustments are made, I'm sure things can get back on track.

As for not contributing a dime yet, well, I just want to be 100% sure I'm getting what I'm paying for.

To my opinion the sits a little to low. Already paid for mine at the beginning, but i still like to say thanks for all the hard work in trying to get us a perfect indy sculpt. We'll get there. Just keep up the good work and take the feedback in account.

As for roger bee. You act like you're the only here getting a head. If you didn't pay yet, then let me quote henry jones: 'what are complaining about?' Some of us already invested money in these. You just shout from the sideline.

Best,

Robert
