The only thing i notice that may be throwing off the likeness is the eyes. IMO they need to have a bit more of a squint. I did a slight PS manip in the second pic.

Might just be me, but the face looks a tad too long, especially around the chin

Yeah Josh, nice, I know they'll get it 100% like the smiling head, I mean that ____ is the single most impressive Harisson Ford sculpt I've ever seen.

This makes the most sense purely from a casting position.


I'm still remaining an advocate of the WTH face, given that the one shown was a WIP early version. But I like that there are choices.

nice! I would open the mouth a little more, but keep the less teeth and tilt his hat back a little. I see nothing but Ford there!

I agree. Something a little more between this version and the previous version of WTH with the mouth/teeth should be perfect! I like the idea of the hat back a little too...let's see what that looks like!

I agree with the guys above. I know this attitude will rock once you get it. I believe the cheek still needs some tension in it to reflect the curling lip. Think of Indy laughing with a sneer.

I personally think of that a little more like his "Trust Me" look, like this, but I think I get what you're saying Wor-Gar:

I definitely like where the 2 incarnations of the WTH sculpt are headed, a little more determined...like how he looked fighting on the streets of Cairo. That's what I plan on using this sculpt for anyways...

I guess I'm thinking of the 'sneer' in the truck when he sees the germans crawling around outside on both sides... he seems like he does that a lot but I really can't think of another time now that I thinking about it. I definitely don't see this sculpt as the "trust me" grin.

Maybe it's more like when he reaches for his gun in ToD and realizes he doesn't have it. I know that's more like a "oh shat" expression but it is classic Indy.

Problem with this sculpt is I think too many of us want it to go into too many different directions. May be tough to please everyone. So maybe a simple curled lip, tough expression is simple enough for the character if not necessarily an expression you can freeze-frame in the movie.

Great reference with the truck scene...I can picture it, it's a bit of an "Oh Great..." Indy moment.

And I agree about the sculpt...curled lip and tough expression that 'embodies the essence' of a determined Indy without being exactly scene specific. Then the sculpt could work with Streets of Cairo, Airplane Fight, Desert Chase...so many possibilities.

I'm liking this, but I guess it's not the expression I was expecting. I was expecting astonished. Here he looks quizzical. I was expecting eyebrows up instead of eyebrows curled in. I guess I'm confusing "What the _____ ?" expression with "Holy _____"

btw If eyes were painted or photoshpped in it might help to envision what a finished head expression would look like

I think "WTF/exhausted" would make for a better sculpt. That's what the WTF pic shown at the beginning depicted.

These are ALL remarkable sculpts, even as/is and this one will be in my shopping cart anyway, but I guess I was expecting something more like 5 or 7. Probably a matter of just a couple of second in the Cairo swordsman scene.

I hadn't really been following this - these look amazing. And here I was still looking to try to get the HT Indy head...

Are there any physical (i.e. things you can hold in your hand) versions of these sculpts yet? It will be the critical test to see how they make the jump from the computer into the real world.
