sweet thanks for the link, if you're not listening to Deerhunter you should check them out. i have 2 favorite bands right now, one is Deerhunter nad the other is Bear in Heaven. you seem to have good taste so check them out - if you haven't already.

Another pretty solid album from Alcest.

I love especially the part in this song from 4:46 onward.

Just bought the following Alcest albums:

These are their two best albums, i would say.

I think Tristesse Hivernale is a demo.

And the latest Le Secret is an EP.

It wasn't available at the site I bought the albums otherwise I would have grabbed it too. How is Le Secret?

Their earlier stuff is pretty much just black metal and i don't like it all that much, the later stuff is more experimental and more melodic and ambient, which i think works best here.

so,Le Secret in my opinion is not that great, its ok-ish.

And here is Les Discrets, a dark folk metal band that recently did a split album with Alcest.

I have not heard much Les Discrets but, they sound good as well.
