Gordon Lightfoot

I used to hate his music, because my dad was a huge fan and we had to listen to it over and over on long trips. But as with many things, I've since come to realize how right my dad was about so many things.

Bluegrass guitarist Tony Rice is also a big fan who recorded lots of Lightfoot covers. He's got a whole album of them. He's a really great musician too, if you want to check out Lightfoot songs interpreted a bit differently.

i never even heard the name, gordon lightfoot until a couple of days ago. i remember hearing his songs when i was growing up and am just now rediscovering a lot of music i haven't heard since i was a kid.
