Without a doubt. You ever hear the story about when he was recording Octopus how he was trying to record it and the engineer complained to Syd that there was no sound coming from his guitar. The engineer came to discover that Syd's guitar (which he had been strumming while recording) had no strings.
When he pointed this out to him, Syd responded by trying to bit the poor man's finger off.
