My brother bought me The Witcher III, like I don't have a big enough back log of games to play. I did start it just to check it out. I like it even though I haven't progressed very far yet. Looks like it's crazy involved though so I don't know if I'll ever finish it since I don't have time to play on a regular basis.

And yes, I know I need to get off my *** and start Uncharted 2. :lol :lol

Witcher III is great, but every time I start a new game I end up giving up on it. I lose interest in it since it's so daunting.
I've been playing... Rainbow Six Vegas 2 :lol game is almost a decade old and somehow still has an active community.

My problem with the Witcher games is that they’ll take a loooong time to beat. A 4-10 hour game would be the sweet spot for me.

That’s my problem with games like that now. They’re too involved for quick sit down play so I feel like I have to wait until I have several free hours. It’ll take me forever to finish at the rate I play games.

Same here. Open-world games are saturating the market. I miss the linear, 8-10 hour games of the fifth and sixth generations.

Having said this, I've been playing Skyrim Special Edition on the PS4. It's my first time playing Skyrim since completing it in 2011 and I can't put it down. I initially felt like I was wasting my time replaying this massive, open-world game, like maybe once was enough and f I'm to play any large game then perhaps it should be one that I've yet to try (like Witcher III). Well, I'm playing through the game with a very different character this time around and it feels surprisingly fresh. I'm addicted again and no longer care.

In conclusion, I don't mind open-world games in moderation. One every once in a while isn't too bad, especially if it's part of an already beloved franchise. Usually though, I feel daunted by their length and avoid them.

Skyrim on the Switch.

My god. The fact that I'm playing this on a handheld is pure insanity. Runs extremely well.

I'm replaying GTAIV on PS3 since it's probably close to 10 years since I've beaten it. I remember the story being probably the best in the series.

Keep dipping back into BOTW and I'm still finding new areas and playing around with the systems in the game. Brilliant.

I'm playing Blood and Wine. Just about to finish my first ever playthrough of the entire game and it's been an insane ride.

Been playing Fate Grand Order and Naruto Ninja Voltage. It's odd, most games I play I get bored almost immediately and drop it but these two, I haven't. I guess it's because they're games you don't have to put much time on.
