Death Star....not playing out so well.

I keep thinking its like the movie crash, a whole bunch of people leading separate lives who are starting to bump into each other for various reasons. It's getting a bit boring though, I keep waiting for something to happen. I don't want to post any spoilers, but I am starting to think their treatment of Tarkin is far fetched at best, and there are some sterotypical charactors emerging - the officer who thinks he can usurp power, cocky TIE pilots, the list goes on. Still treating Vader well, but there's not enough of him so far. The Twilek bar owner is also interesting, we'll see where she goes charactor development wise.

Wait for the paperback or hit the library unless something makes it pick up again. It started out so promising though.

I usually have 4-5 books in various states of being read. Depends on the mood I'm in which book I'll foray into at any given time. So many gets boring at a certain point and I just put them away for a bit and pick up another to get my reading juices flowing again. Then I'll revisit the put away books with a fresh set of eyes. Right now on my bedstand are:

Children of Hurin
Was undecided on whether to buy Children of Hurin as ive heard varying reports.
Awaiting several fantasy novels to come out in paperback from D Gemmell,T Brooks and R E Feist.
Was also considering checking out George R R Martins A song of Ice and Fire series.Has anyone read it? ;)

At the moment I'm re-reading the Ninth Law of Magic (Terry Goodkind). It's a great series, and I can't wait to read number 10. I'm also very curious what the movie will be like! :rock
