On a somewhat similar note to DA, I'm starting to read "IKS Gorkon: A Good Day to Die"

It's a Star Trek novel series that follows a Klingon ship and crew. :rock

Just finished Knife of Dreams, book 11 of The Wheel of Time series; going to be a pita to wait for book 12.1 in October.

Started reading Unholy: The Haunted Lands bk III and I am having a hard time getting into it. Happens 100 years after the 2nd book and the story is choppy so far. I might toss it to the side and start on Dragon Prince.

The Ultimate Hitchhikers Guide

Consisting of the five complete novels:

The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy
The Restaurant At The End Of The Universe
Life, The Universe And Everything
So Long And Thanks For All The Fish
Mostly Harmless

There also is a bonus story:

Young Zaphod Plays It Safe

Right now I'm in the middle of Restaurant, so I still have a long way to go.

I just finished the radio play adaptation of the last three books. Douglas Adams was amazing!

For books, I just finished the third Twilight book -- it's research I would never slog through those books for pleasure. Ug, it's like they came up with a story with a hero and a villain and there's action and adventure happening to the main characters... but then there's also a hapless love interest who's only function is to get into trouble. Then they told the story from the least interesting character's point of view. Which is an interesting experiment. Just horribly, horribly written -- on many levels. My girlfriend is reading them for fun. She concedes all my points and even adds some complaints but defends the characters and story. I guess it helps to be a girl. I told her fine, enjoy the books. But when you're done check out the Vampire Lestat and see how it's done.

Starting The Orpheus Deception by David Stone. It's the sequel to The Echelon Vendetta which I really enjoyed so I have high hopes for this one. Especially since the author had this sequel planned based on the ending to the first one, as opposed to when an author has a popular book and decides write another with the same character.

Just finished the new Raymond E Feist Book - "Rides a Dread Legion"..... didn't put it down.

Prior to that i caught up on the four Dexter books - interesting to see how the TV show has diverged from the books and the consequences of those changes.
