i am 6'2" tall, blonde hair, blue eyes, tan and athletic. i hang out at the beach all day long to get a deep golden tan and at night, i'm a porn actor that goes by the name Buck Naked. :D

I moved to Seattle to get my foot in the door in the local music industry. I work for the manager of the bands, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden. As things started winding down in the mid-late 90's I became her only employee and while running the office I also did personal assistant type stuff for her in her home. It has now evolved into me helping her with her young daughter. I've personally never thought about having children of my own but it has been a very interesting experience helping raise a child. I started when she was 6 months old and now she is 7. I've become a sort of second parent, which still trips me out when I think about it. With my job I get to travel a lot which is sometimes a blessing and a curse. It's the longest job I've ever had (going on 11 years) but I know that someday (sooner than later) I need to move on and find something that will be a bit more financially rewarding and offer me advancement opportunities. Got to think of my future....and though this job is relatively easy (though at times incredibly stressful when you become involved in f'd up personal matters) I'm feeling the itch to try something new. What that will be, though I have no idea. I have a double degree in Telecommunications and Sociology but think I may go back to school for accounting or another degree in Math. I love numbers and think I would enjoy something in the mathematics field.

Wow Jen, that sounds fun; and I am sure in the mid-90's you were mighty busy! :rock

I love playing music myself -------------------- Bass players rule!:chew:chew:cool:

It was a lot of fun when things were really rolling....got to see a lot of great bands in small settings. I agree with you about the bass players.....:D I used to play myself...had a Fender PB back in college....good times, good times.:cool:

Creecher....I take it you're a bass player too??

Why sure. I have a 74 Fender PB through a SWR Mo'Bass, cause I just have to have mo' bass.

Well, I'm 30 and up to a year ago was an owner of a lingerie/swimsuit design and sales enterprise. Last year, I sold my business and am now retired. The only thing a really do now is invest in real estate around the U.S. I'm thinking about opening a real estate/mortgage brokerage in the next couple of years, but am not sure yet. In the meantime, I enjoy writing and have been working on some fiction lately.

Well, I'm out of retirement kind of. Haven't been on the boards much since Feb. because I just partnered in a new Mortgage Brokerage. It's been a hell of a road having partners who don't know sh*t. I've done everything!!! But, now it's starting to take off and I have a lot more free time. :chew

Fellow PB'r, man I have owned close to 15 of them, and still come back to it. I love mine, it is a newer American guitar with the graphite re-inforced neck and the bridge through body. Jeff Ament (Pearl Jam) was a HUGE influence on me starting out. :rock

.... and now back to your regularly scheduled thread.

I'm a translator for a company that mainly deals with movies and tv series. Lately, I've been translating Simpsons, Star Trek, ER, Spider-Man... I love my job :monkey5

I'm also getting my degree in Communications and I already studied Linguistics.

Furniture (and what not) builder by night.:D Here's some pics of a few of the things I've made...

You've got some skills, man. Nice to see someone else who enjoys maple; we've got a lot of maple in our house - floors, kitchen cabinets, furniture in my daughter's room.

I consider myself fairly handy, but wow, that furniture is beautiful.

I haven't checked this thread for a while. I'm sorry, I wasn't ignoring your much appreciated compliments or your questions.

That's really nice workmanship, Cocoboloboy.
Thanks Batty!

I work in toilets, so I know a bit about logs, and that there is some nice timber and woodwork.

Sorry creecher, not the same field of expertise but I hope you enjoy your work.Just please don't try to construct anything out of the timber you find.:lol

wow man. thats awesome work.
Im just getting into doodling in woodworking myself.

very impressive

Thanks occulum! I hope you enjoy your doodling.:D If you need any questions answered just give me a shout.

incredible stuff! is that your own workshop or do u use the one at work? oh and i've seen some of ur action figure display boxes on eBay. astounding!

Thanks Mookey! I use the shop where I work. It has all the cool toys. Those figure displays were alot of fun to design. I hardly have any in my own house any more, aside from several comic book/figure displays that I humbly think were my best design.:monkey3

Thanks fhj! Yeah, I really love maple for it's diversity and figure/grain patterns. It's got to be one of the most beautiful lumbers to work with.
