Cousin graduated from a law school out here, and she was pretty happy to be done with it. Hope not to deter you, but she said for the first year, she didn't sleep at all. :chew :chew

:lol Not me, I am trying to get into Med School. Not that it's any easier....:monkey1 My brother, however, has had his share of sleepless nights.:D

Yea I've heard the horror stories of how rough Dickinson is the first year and I've even looked at the first year required courses. I cried for about 5 minutes when I realized that I will have NO life. My big stress right now are those LSATs. The logic games are off the wall.

I'm the Senior Graphic Designer/Art Diector for a company that designs printed glassware like the kind that you find at bars or ballgames that have your teams logo printed on them. In my spare time I sell shoes at a Shoe store(to help out an aging friend/mentor).

I commend you BIG time.

it takes so much patience and toleration to work with the kind of people you work with and IMO there are far too few people who care about the needs these people have at no fault of their own.

:rock

Thank you for that, occulum.

Y'know what the real kicker about it is...I get a measly $15 an hour...works out to about $25,000 before taxes. For all the frustration and B.S. involved with the job (mostly from butting heads with selfish parents and apathetic school officials), one would think the salary would be higher.

That's why I'm limited to the 1/6 scale...it's the only thing I can afford!!

Not to sound miserable or greedy, but all I can say is thank heavens I'm married and have a working wife. Otherwise, I'd be in deep debt just from monthly bills already.

And memnoch21, from one local Pennsylvanian to another, the best of luck to you. I can only try to imagine how tough law school is going to be.

bus drivers are legands lol (begs to put bus fairs to £1, ahhh the good old days lol ;)

how about bus drivers:eek:

Surprisingly bus drivers are nothing like truckers! Generally they are clean and well mannered. I have had zero problems with bus drivers.

What area are you in? I lived in Albuquerque and I know the treck from there to Santa Fe usualy has some crappy drivers and lots of trucks. Must suck trying to fix their messes.

Taxi drivers in Korea and the Philippines are the worst i've seen so far. lol.

I dunno, the taxi drivers in Brooklyn freak me out. After living there for a year I just avoided the taxi altogether. Thank goodness for the buses--they still drive like fools, but at least your safe in a giant bus LOL.

Of course, NYC in general is a melting pot of bad drivers.......lol

I am a college student at Amarillo College for mortuary science. I also work at one of the busiest Funeral Homes in all of the Panhandle. Before that I worked as a furniture reupholster and as an auctioneer. After mortuary school I plan on going to music school to get a major for banjo and fiddle performance.

All I can say is that you are a true asset to the board! The next time I need a banjo playing mortician to auction off a reupholstered ottoman, I will know exactly who to call. You are truly a Renaissance Man!!! I am impressed...

:lol soooooo true :rotfl Lanes are disregarded. When did u visit Nash?

yeah I don't know why they even waste money to paint lanes on the roads, 80% of the time the general public drive with the painted lines between their tires lol.

I visted a bunch of times TOE, most recently was June 2006 and stayed until August.

Im planning to go back with my girl again this August and maybe stay past Christmas. New years in the PI is off the hook. you get freakin dynamite for firecrackers :lol:lol
