i see the emphasis on HIGH....subjective interpretation, it's not printed in the bible like that. but i agree in principal. i read "power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely" and we much struggle to defeat the urges within ourselves to abuse power.

The Bible is a splendid book, with a great variety of stories and lessons to teach humanity. But I can not trust it's contents as it was written by man. Men have abused power and used various things to control people or gain more power, or they are crazy and just want to be a part of something greater than themselves. So since man is fallible, the Bible too is fallible in my eyes. I still believe in God, but I don't think that the Bible is 100% the word of God entirely...if any.

#2 Humans sin because we have free will and a body chemistry that is not perfect. People don't kill each other and do horrible acts because Satan or some demon is telling them to. They do it because their brain chemistry is screwed up or they just snapped, or they just love to cause chaos. And Man has naturally wanted a God to believe in since we first developed thinking brains. Early man buried their dead, along with items from their life, with some reverence.. so it shows a hope for something waiting for them in the afterlife, which shows a desire for an afterlife given to them by a higher power of some kind.

#3 The NWO is complete bullcrap. It's the most ridiculous thing to imagine some rich banker in a suit slaughtering a goat in his conference room to honor Satan. And it's even more unbelievable to imagine a bunch of overfed corporate bastards trying to come together to rule the world through evil, they wouldn't want to share that power... they are far too greedy for it.

so which one is the real one and which one's are the perversions? because the one everyone thinks of was compiled together from gospels and the torah. before that, there was no bible, just the gospels and the torah, and varied copies of each. and who are these divinely inspired hands, nobody bothered with a byline back then? paper and ink were a super luxury then as well. so god chose rich men who had such items to bring "his" message to the masses? couldn't it have been oral tradition for a few centuries before they were transcribed and by then the grapevine screwed it all up.

if satan was the god of this world, there would be no worship or belief in god and everyone would be out for themselves (sadly that part seems to be getting more true all the time ) original sin bugs me too. how is it a newborn baby with no experience or even awareness be guilty of sin. if it has to do with the tree of knowledge debacle, why then is knowledge a bad thing? why do we have free will, brains, reason, etc if god forbade knowledge to begin with? besides babies don't know anything. i tried having a conversation with one once, it was like talking to a rock that drools.

the real illuminati of the enlightenment era or the movie one? there's a huge difference between them. rich elite bankers, i hate em too. but being an organized cabal of satanists bent on destroying religion is a little to complex and far fetched. besides a lot of em just lost those positions that would but them in place to enslave man. they obviously can't even get their books straight otherwise we wouldn't be in this mess. sadly, it's just good old greed and arrogance run amok. what wrong with a globally unified populace? not culturally unified per se, life would be boring. but religious, political ,and economic disagreements are the holy trinity of warfare. remove religious intent from official decisions ( the types that affect lives other than your own), give everyone a say in a fair and equal system, and level the playing field monetarily (when it comes to basic needs at least) and you have a lot less conflict but retain all the flavor of humanity. realistic, no, but i can dream.

no debt, sounds great, where do i sign up? sounds like the united federation of planets. gold and silver as currency.... i'd hate to have to buy a house or a car using them. it'd be kinda pointless to lug ingots around. what about diamonds or platinum?? all they are is shiny metal with little value in the way of physical properties (except gold for it's conductivity) iron, steel and aluminum are much more useful. paper money and coin was made to alleviate moving mass amounts of precious metals and simplify bartering. but i agree that the current institutions have really made things way too complex for the layman and too easy for certain people to take an unfair advantage.

what if responsive ghosts are residual psychic energy of an individual, by that i mean the collection of electrical impulses that make us...us, personality, memory, emotionally. if someone had the will to retain one's identity when they check out, that energy pattern remains sans body and can manifest t via energy absorption and re direction within the environment, rather than the energy being recycled back into the cosmos or whatever. demons, angels, staypuft, etc could be beings like that but that have either degraded to baser levels or refined into something else. maybe some have diluted with others. i don't know i'm free thinking it here. pot talk friday

could be all of the above, or none of the above. i think the girl that hangs out around my place is dead, knows it, and just enjoys being around people. when i bought this place it was renovated by a flipper but abandoned for decades without anyone living in it.

My brother once saw a bald old man with a black mark on his face sitting in our front room when we lived with 1 of my dads old girlfriends for a few yrs. My brother mentioned it and my dads girlfriend was shocked cos that was her dead dad. My father, brother and i never knew anything about him or even saw a picture.

My brother me and a few buds went on holiday to cornwall and we saw a hooded figure he looked like a monk walking by the cliffs, then he just disapeared right before us. The next day in the local newspaper a guy from a reanactment group dressed as a monk jumped off the cliffs. They found his body he'd been dead for a week.

I saw an entity once in my house it was black and swirly like a blackhole kinda thing, i ran at it and it went through a wall and i never saw it again. but damn did my hair stand up on end lol.

Once i was at my girlfriends and she was at work, i was in bed and a very cold hand touched my leg, there was nobody in the room or even the house just me. I told it to piss off and it went after a while.

Once when out in some old haunted woods i heard growling right by me literally in my ear and none of my friends were even near me. It was really beastial not like a dog it was really kinda evil.

Ive heard voices and other things, and seen a few other weird things, and even had a room shake with 12 people in it. And no it wasn't an earth quake cos i checked lol.

Me and a whole group of friends used to visit haunted castles, woods etc for yrs all over the country it was kinda cool.

I never used to believe in ghosts etc, but there sure seems to be something going on.

I saw something like that.

I was stargazing and saw what I thought was a satellite slowly moving across the sky. I watched it for about 4 seconds when it "flicked" (it spun around randomly like when you flick the top of a car/tv antenna) and sped off at a 90 degree angle.

I still have no clue as what it was.
