i haven't been here for that long, but this forum is infinitely better than the spawn forum.

we need the Spawn board to stay up. otherwise they all come over here.

Post at both forums. Find that generally people have a better sense of humor over on the Spawn forums and here people tend to be uptight and rather dull.

But then again I don't really collect toys much anymore, especially spending triple digits on a figure. But as an environment, that place is more entertaining.

once again, spawn is my primary message board but it's an absolute joke that it was taken down for maintenance 30 minutes prior to SDCC kicking off on thursday. i mean, it's the toy super bowl for crying out loud and you take the message boards down? in what world does that make any sense? what a great idea...let's send any loyal fans that we have remaining to other message boards for SDCC coverage.

Cause when the Spawn forums are down, like they are now, this is a decent place to catch up on news and announcements. Most of my time isn't even spent in the specific toy forums here...I mostly look at the videogame threads and the movies/tv show threads. Even though I don't own a Sideshow product, they are cool to look at every now and then. For that reason, this place fulfills it's purpose for me. Nothing less nothing more.

And they are some cool people here. But everything about the Spawn forums in this thread has been completely generalized. So I just did the same. Your simplistic outlook on a toy forum (of all things) is quite amusing though.

i wish they would have given a little bit of advanced warning...i had some addresses in my PM box to ship some SDCC items to. we bought another suitcase while we were out there to get everything home...luckily, one of our suitcases was on it's last voyage so we were going to buy another anyways, but still
