Drop it off at goodwill. That is what i did with a few boxes of Toy Biz and similar garbage figures.

Yeah, at least that way someone might actually enjoy them and you can use the charitable donation as a write-off.

Honestly, unless you like the junk that's pretty much the only way to get rid of them. Half the time crap like that doesn't even sell for $.99 on eBay since they aren't worth the cost of shipping :lol

I've pretty much sold all the figures I don't want/like...
But all of them I've liked a lot... it's more about changing my collection rather than them being bad pieces.

The only 2 figures I regretted buying were Sideshow's Bespin Han, which I ended up selling, and Yavin Luke which I returned to SS...

Sure in comparison to the T-1000 from HT which came out nearly 5 years later and cost over 3X as much :lol For the time it really wasn't a bad figure and can look good if posed well; can't say the same for Sideshow's T-800 :yuck
I know where you are coming from here, but really, that's at the heart of what I hate about "garbage figures" nowadays--relative expectations. They were half-way decent when I didn't know any better. SS T-1000 could be great until you realize that it isn't. Then, you might start to really despise it for failing to match up. Nearly everything is good compared to something much worse. I would prefer NECA to the ToyBiz Marvel characters I collected years back, but I don't consider them worthy of being in a discussion about "collectibles."

Totally agree... and when it comes to hating a figure; I could see the T-1000 being disliked if you had it and later replaced it (which I did). But just wanted to point out that as a direct comparison (which that picture was doing) its not 100% fair.

original Fewture Pred on horse. I bought it before SS made their version for a pretty penny when they were rare, but if i tried to sell it now, i would easily lose at least $300 on it.

All of the McFarlane crap I bought before I crossed over into higher end collecting. McFarlane figures rarely stood up on their own for long without falling over, a lot of the plastic used yellowed in a few years time etc. If I could have 1/4 back of what I spent on that stuff I'd be a happy camper.

Like most have said here i've long sold it but if I had to pick just one i'd say my Medicom Batman Begins figure. Or anything Medicom i've ever owned for that matter. Well their Spiderman 3 figure were kinda fun.

At least you got a little money back. I gave it to my ex and was just glad he didn't give it back to me when we broke up.

The thing that really pissed me off is that some time after they released that abomination they made a 12" version of their 6" figure of him, looked MILES better, and it sold for less than half of the price of that stupid statue.

They make nothing but garbage.

Thats not entirely fair and I'm no Neca fan. The Bioshock and Dead Space and some of the other newer articulated stuff is really nice for 7" scale.

And the older horror stuff isn't terrible just been done before. Now for things like Stuntman Mike or licenses that don't wind up performing as expected, they definately get the shaft but even Hot TOys does that like with the Spirit.
