The Dark Knight & Avengers

I don't hate the films themselves at all, it's the fanbabies who make them out to be the be all and end all of superhero movies.

There's been ones and will be future ones that are as good or better

I agree...but out of all that were ever made I could watch the Nolan Batman trilogy easily the most

I hate everything CelticPredator loves cause he has terrible taste in movies. Just awful. Incidently, he is also a terribe human. Just awful.

Godfather 1
Godfather 2
Never seen part 3, to long, boring.
LOTR trilogy to long, boring.
Star Wars prequels, *****
Anything that has Jim carry, people seem to love him, I cant stand him
Blade Runner, boring
300 *****
Watchmen *****
Sucker punch *****
Avatar *****
Transformers 2 and 3 complete trash.
Matrix trilogy, complete garbage.
That's all I can think of right now.

The more I read this thread, the more I :slap

Can't stand Harry Potter.

Dont get it?...I know a guy that cant stand any film where the entire cast has the british accents going on or any foreign film...That's alot of good films to hate! and I told him a dumb reason

No I get it, I understand them... but the cutesy wizard/witches school setting reminds me of an old HBO special called the Worst Witch. Good for a few cheesy laughs, but it's just not my thing. It also kind of reminds me of the Flintstones which I grew to hate as I got older. Normally I like fantasy/magic type settings though.

One has to ask.... do you have eyes?

My List of Movies everyone seemed to like but me...

MATRIX
JUNO
KILL BILL
THOR
TRUE LIES

EDIT~ Add the Pirates of the Caribbean to that as well.

I would mention TITANIC, but I know alot of people who hate that movie as well.

Too bad I missed the whole A Clockwork Orange discussion, excellent film, but one thing people seem to miss the point on is that the violence Alex commits is supposed to be disturbing and shocking. It's not a film for the squeamish, and if it made you cringe, or worse, than Kubrick succeeded. You werent supposed to enjoy the violence, it was a commentary on where society was heading.

Kubrick's ending is wildly different from the one that Burgess wrote in the book.

I read the book as well, and to be fair, that last chapter was not in the book when Kubrick made the film, it was added years later.
At least it was added to the American version. I read somewhere that Burgess didnt want that added chapter, that it was put in to appease UK Censors.

Yes and he did succeed...When I first saw it over 40 years ago I cringed and considered it at the time the most disturbing film I ever saw....A few agreed with me back then...It's still very disturbing in my book but unlike other disturbing films(that just glorify violence/gore for the hell of it) it drives a message home...I never liked Juno or True Lies...Kill Bill, Thor was very entertaining....I liked the Matrix trilogy...
