That evokes memories...

But, to be honest I am getting pretty sick of superheroes now.

Just like Zombies they are over doing the whole thing and it is getting kind of annoying.

I can't open the internet without seeing something superhero related now.

Not really into marvel since like 1986 but my favorite is Spidey.
Can't remember what kicked it off other than the cartoons and TV shows and reruns in the 70s and my love/hate for spiders.
But I definitely remember loving the Secret wars and the symbiotic black alien outfit, collecting multiple spidey titles and all the crossovers.
I don't collect anything super hero related nowadays though. I buy some things for my son because it's funny like the pajama costumes and probably more when he gets older.
I like the movies though but I don't go crazy... I still need to see Yellow/red man 3 and I'm batman 3

forgot to mention. The Spidey Broadway show sucked lol.
I was there to see Addam's family and had an extra day to see something so Spidey it was.

Spider-Man and Spider-Man.

Yeah , definitely Spider-man. I was only 10 ( 2002 ) when Sam-Raimi's original movie was released and without ever reading comics and having a general interested in movies back then Spider-man mainly opened me up to the world of marvel.

I was eight when the first Spidey movie hit theaters, and that's what got me into marvel. Been my favorite ever since.

You guys that were 8 or 10 when Spiderman came out, man that's crazy. I remember when Batman came out, and I'm sure theres people here who even remember Superman. :lol

What started it all would be my grandfather taking me to various farmer's markets and buying me massive bulk lots of comics, all kinds of things I shouldn't have probably been reading that young.

Also my father's close friend worked for Upper Deck, Topps, Fleer, etc and would get me tons of boxes of free Marvel trading cards and action figures, die cast stuff, posters, uncut sheets, everything.

I remember it was really hyped up around the time the X-Men Animated series came on, but it still didn't hold a candle to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles madness at that time.

Started with X-Men (Was 6) and Marvel then in 2007 decided to give up Marvel and go for collecting Star Wars. WORST DECISION IN MY LIFE :lol

When I was reading X-Men, the only comic able to redirect my attention was the original Eastman & Laird TMNT.
