OK, I'm familiar with all the garage kits you mentioned (I own all of those) except "Lionel". What kit is this? Any pictures? Any information? Come on, fess up!!! I need info man!!!! :D

I checked yesterday my old "Model and Toy Collector" magazines looking for references and images and it seems I mixed up lines and producer (growing old LOL).

In 1992, garage kit producer "Barker Brothers" made a line of figures called Sideshow Oddities. Their first release was "Schiltzie the Pinhead", then "Lionel" and then "Prince Radian the screamin bullet". As Sideshow firts release was "Schiltzie" it seems my mind mixed up the lines... sorry. The good news is you have all the SS line ;)

BTW, the SS Schiltzie is amazing, did you buy it back in the old days or you found it on evilbay?

My first Sideshow figure was Evil Ash I think. It may have been S-Mart ash but it was about that time.

My first SSW product was the Argonath but one of their heads fell off and I need to replace them.

EDIT - Although it may have been Hush Buffy...

Ah I don't know - far too many purchases since then.

No problem; I've been known to do the same thing! :lol

I got Schiltzie MIB about a year ago off eBay for the princely sum of $29.99, and no, it isn't a recast! Came from a reputable retailer that never sells recasts.

I kind of started late and my very first SSC figure is 12" Jedi Luke! And then, I started to go crazy about the SW PF figures!

mine was the buffy figure from the hush episode..laid off sideshow for a while cos it was kinda hard to come by in singapore...next was the WW1 storm trooper dude...after came the SW stuff, so in between releases from luke to ani, (cos it was heckuva long wait) i went beserk and started collecting more buffy stuff!

My first piece was the SSW Gandalf bust.

First 12" figure was Jedi Luke.

My first 1/6 was Connery from Dr. No. I bought him loose at the now infamous Pittsburgh Expo Mart Toy Show. I wanted him to stand next to my badass Skynet Golgo 13 figure. The Young Frankenstein figures came soon after and the 1/6 bug began gnawing at my brain.

I originally got the Sideshow/Weta Muppet Busts (Dr. Teeth was first) awhile back. I got back into Sideshow stuff early last summer picking up a PF Princess Leia...and I quickly followed with Obi, Han, & Vader. My addiction to Sideshow products has continued....

Started late as with some of you. My first was Gandalf of Shadowfax in the LoTR line, my first in the Star Wars line was SDCC Darth Vader 12".

My first Sideshow figure that I got in hand was the first version of Scarface that I picked up in a comic shop, the first one I had ordered was Jedi Luke. The Terminator T-800 marks the first non-Star Wars figure I'll receive from Sideshow direct.

My first Sideshow order was the LOTR No admittance bookends, but my first figure purchase was the Easterling statue.

I had a few SW items on order but the first piece I ever received was Sauron. What a way to start a collection! Still one of my favorite pieces.

General Grievous was mine. I saw him at Comic Con and had to have him then they annouced that they had some.

Not counting the older 7" Universal Horror guys, of which I bought nearly all of...
I'd say, 12" Drac & Frank. Then maybe...Dr. NO! :lol The good Doc started many a collection eh?
