What's everyone's take on T3: Rise of the Machines?

T3, although disappointing, I am glad it was made... It was just fun to see Arnold in his most popular role.

TOO BAD THEY DID NOT MAKE T3 YEARS AGO, maybe there would have been a better cast.

I thank Arnold for his efforts, but there was nothing he could do to make up for the bad casting. The storyline was ok, but the actors (other than Arnold and the TX Kristana Loken ) were not good. I did not like some of the scenes. For example, was the street chase with the crane. It was over extended, exagarrated and became boring to watch...

I liked the TX terminator. And I liked the more detailed Hunter Killer machines... I also thought Dr. Silvermans spot in the movie was a great touch. The ending also was good. The entire story,starting with T1 came full circle with the ending of T3.

Overall, very disappointing. I dont plan to buy the dvd. I bet that many of us fans could have created a better film.

I'm really suprised that people have rated Kristana Loken's performance so highly I personally thought she was ^^^^ing horrible in the role.

Guess waving a pair of tits in a tight outfit is enough to make people overlook a horrible performance

i think you're just looking for something else to knock the not-cameron movie with.

And the "it's only because it's not Cameron" excuse is getting old I'm knock T3 because it's a bad re-hash of T2. I've enjoyed other Mostow movies such as Breakdown which has some nicely directed suspense scenes and action.

You just get the feeling Mostow was in over his head, there was a hell of a lot of studio interference and Schwarzenneger was allowed creative input. Whereas we all know what an onset dictator Cameron can be. Just a case of too many cooks.

And I enjoyed Alien 3 which was a non-Cameron follow up to a Cameron movie.

But I didn't like The Abyss a Cameron movie.

So it's genuinely because I think it's a bad movie, nothing to do with where loyalties to the Franchise lie.

Just got done watching T3 and it still rocks I am glad they keep on making Terminator movies despite the critical whiners and T3 haters out there. If they keep making them I will keep watching them as I have not been let down yet.NOW BRING ON TERMINATOR SALVATION ALREADY

the truth is, nobody here has given an actual reason why t3 is bad.
they just fart out litanies on what's different from the cameron movies.

i wouldn't say t3 is good, but it certainly isn't any more cheesy, or poorly made than the other 2.
then again, i don't have any bias.

off-topic... what didn't you like about the abyss?
i remember it being excellent scifi and having ground-breaking effects. probably my favorite cameron movie.

uh... how did it "ruin the others"?
does not liking a sequel invalidate the previous movies?
i still like the alien and predator movies. i still like the 1st starship troopers... what am i missing by not caring about their crappy sequels?

hmm... nope, that didn't work either. i still like the original alien and predator movies.
i think the problem here is you're just taking the avp movies too seriously.
they're stupid. just forget them. you'll be happier.
