I know some of you don't use checks at all anymore, but some of us still do. What's on your's? These are coming in for me at any time:

I prefer to use checks whenever possible for bills, then also, there are times when debit cards can't be used. Like through local vendors, etc. Or for school things. Not everyone takes a debit card here.

Oh, still living on Sesame St. huh Ween?

Seriously, its been years since I seen someone bust out a check in line somewhere. Check people used to drive me crazy, holding up the line with their ancient form of payment, thank God they are all but gone. Except on Sesame St. where apparently they don't take debit yet :(

I can't use cards for rent, school field trip expenses and lunch expenses for the boy, and some medical bills.

Other than that, it's credit and debit for everything.

Mostly I use the debit card. On rare occasions, I use my checks and I have these on mine:

The Neighborhood of Make-Believe has really gone downhill since Fred Rogers died. There's no way I was gonna raise a family there, I had to move. :(

I live where you can still buy things from local farmers and markets. They don't take credit or debit. The guy who rents me my storage area doesn't take it. There are a lot of places that don't.

I can actually get through a checkout at the grocery quicker with a check than some can with a debt card. You don't have to write the check, just give it to them, they run it and you're done. Quicker than the ones with WIC or food stamp cards.
