Oh, still living on Sesame St. huh Ween?

Seriously, its been years since I seen someone bust out a check in line somewhere. Check people used to drive me crazy, holding up the line with their ancient form of payment, thank God they are all but gone. Except on Sesame St. where apparently they don't take debit yet :(

The Dude uses checks.

We've had this box of checks for four years and probably will have them in four years more. We only write three checks a month to businesses who haven't gotten their ____ together and provided internet pay capabilities.

I don't mind that people find me to be "behind the times" because I use checks. I have an extreme chip on my shoulder for the fees charged for using the more convenient electronic payment options.

I will be firing my bank soon.

When someone else starts paying my bills, then they can tell me which payment method to use.:hi5:

Someone "complained" behind me in line once and I turned around and told them to feel free to walk up and swipe their debit card. They found another line while I wrote my check.

I fired CHASE a few months back. WaMu did nearly everything for free, then CHASE bought them out and started charging fees on everything that used to be for free. I've been with the local credit union ever since. And I get a better interest rate on my money.

I'll never understand why banks want to charge ME money for giving THEM my money. It's the most bass-ackwards way of doing business ever.
