I just have generic checks from the bank, but I do see a lot of people use checks at my pharmacy.
It's usually the old people.

I keep a checkbook handy specifically for guys behind me in checkout lines who complain about slow people ahead of us. I always look at them and smile and let them see me put my cash away and pull out my checkbook. Then I let someone from behind them go in front of me.
