I working on a few different kitbashes right now and I need a body but most of the truetypes w/pegs are either hard to find or pretty expensive. But a DID body are pretty cheap and looks to have the same neck joint. What is the size difference, will hot toys hands fit on a dragon body and if they are close where is the best place to find one?? thanks

The wrist peg is a different design, so w/o doing some work you won't be able to use HT hands on a Dragon body... The necks are all pretty much compatible with the neck plugs.

In terms of looks, the HT body is the best in the market. If you want a very lifelike and highly poseable body they are the best. But, it comes at a price. Expect to pay at least $30 for a complete body... and probably more if you want one of the boxed True-Types. Whereas Dragon and DiD bodies can be had for under $10.

Good think about Dragon and DiD is you can (with a bit of work) get the hands to work on the other bodies and both companies have a lot of available handsculpts you can use for custom figures.

Can anyone tell me what exactly is BBI? Is that actually a brand name or does it stand for somehting?

BBi is a brand i think! They have a pretty good muscle body that works great for arnlod! The BBi G3.5 body it ahs good articulation too!
Yeah, thats the one of the knock-off Hudson head, right? I bought 2 of them on eBay that came in blank packaging which is why I thought BBI might not be a brand but rather a general term for "cheap-unknown toy-brand". The articulation is good in the legs but sucks at the elbows.

can some 1 suggest good dragon bodys to use, with not big shoulders or anything. i found some monkey depot but they seem to have alot and not sure what the difference between alot of em are so dont knw which to look at getting. they will hopefully be for some ghostbuster customs.

i found these on ebay, jst wondered if there was much difference between em and what ppl think of em.

BBI (I think) stands for Blue Box something or other. Maybe international? But they're just another 1/6 figure maker, although I don't think they are still in business.

Yeah, that is just ridiculous. Its a great body, but there are others out there that will work for most custom figures just fine.

Check places like Monkey Depot, Red Planet Toys, etc... they part out the True Types and usually you can get all the parts for under $40 before shipping.

Can someone tell me if Dragon hands will fit into a BBI body?
