I seriously think so. I mean, the detail on this thing is just INSANE!!!! Somewhat comparable to the Venom 1:1, in it's own light. I mean, you can see Ray Park's skin pores on this!!! It doesn't get anymore life like than this (except if it had glass eyes) But yeah, I think the Maul 1:1 is bound to hit grail status eventually

Are we talking along the lines of The Thing PF or even more unnoticed than that? Because I'll tell you I bought The Thing simply because of the deal I got on him. (Way under retail.) Honestly, after getting him, I can't understand why this thing

yeah i also just got one myself, and i don't see why everyone has such bad things to say about him. the only problem with it becoming a grail is the es, and with 3 different versions available. i guess we'll have to wait and see.

Maybe this might help but this is coming from a guy that started collecting past stuff from sideshow a year ago. Also This was exactly how much I paid and I know some professionals that sell these materials and wanted to share what they said.
Doom exclusive 1200- to be a grail, yes.
Spiderman PF- paid 500-grail no, unless you have the exclusive with black/red thats a grail!
Venom bust- Who was to think this would be a grail!!! Bought it 1500.00
LEGEND BUST- A INSTANT GRAIL!!! bought 1500.00
XMEN VS SENTINEL exclusive-grail..no. it has had a tremendous decline
SPIDERMAN HEAD BUST (RED)- GRAIL..YES!! absolutely!!! from699 to 1000 now
ironman comiquette-.....obvious
Star wars- yes darth maul!!! a classic...grail!! paid 500
CAP EXCLSUIVE- has stayed the same between 600-800 range
Hulk green- has had a decline and grey is suddenly starting to go up.
spidey vs hulk exclusive-stayed the same 1500 for past months, slight decline
Hellboy products-absolutely not

BLACK and white bela lugosi DRACULA BUST.- from 559 to nearly 1500.00 I paid 800
iron spiderman exclusive-will hit the 2000 mark
Regular Akuma statue-will hit 1500 mark
also believe it or not- thor vs loki will be on the rise it will hit pass the 1000 mark
Thor-will be below 1500 mark and will have a slight decline afterwards

I think that is probably the closest to becoming one. It has a lower ES and is a very popular character, with a great exclusive.

yeah i agree, i liked thor comics as a kid but i tend to think that cap will get there first. also depends on which movie hits first and how successful they are. the thor statue just doesn't turn my crank (it's huge) and the bearded look makes him look like he's hung over from a week long binge.
that's just me though.
my second bet would be the iron spidey (ex only), i know the es is larger but because of spideys popularity and it's crossover tie ins with cap's shield and im's helm will make this one (eventaully) high on everyones want list.

I think Thor is cool..but Captain America is so much better and more interesting story line. Then again, I wouldn't considered any of these two as grail material. I think a holy grail material should be very limited instead of listing every Sideshow product line.
