Interesting thread... Here's my Grail piece. The original JP t-Rex maquette that started it all. Dont own it... Too Crazy expensive.. But hopefully I'll be able to get a paleo artist to make one for me someday...

I don't think I have one single grail. Just a bunch of want-mades and, of existing pieces, a few would-jump-on-if-didn't-already-owe-fortune-on-other-toys items.

Where can I get it?
How is it called?

I want it now.:gah:

This particular one was the original JP t-Rex maquette made by Stan Winston studios. Only one was ever made and it was sold a few years ago. But all hope is not lost though... There are very talented paleoartists out there who sell something almost similar. But they also cost a real pretty sum although nowhere as expensive as the 40k the original piece went for.

My other Grail is a 1:1 scale t-Rex head. But first i need to get out of my rental house and get a house lol.

I'll have to add something else to the grail I posted here. My new Shepperton Design Studios life-size Stormtrooper armor and Hero helmet - wanted a 1:1 Stormtrooper all my life, never thought I would own one:

That is excellent! Major congrats! Now you have someone to protect all those CD's in the background! :monkey1 :wink1:

Indeed. And to scary myself and my girlfriend when walking in the house with lights off, since we barely got used to his imposing presence around us. :lol

Right now it is the Master Replicas Return of the Jedi Darth Vader saber. Signature Edition. I had one a couple of years ago and never should have sold it.

I'd love to see a pic with something for scale.

The t-Rex maquette is 1:5 scaled. So more than 5feet long.

Heres a video of the piece.

Had a chance to own one of these but the one that I found was in great shape. Just had the ES sratched out and that was enough for me to pass. I don't have many things left to aquire for my collection, but I hope to get my hands on one of these someday. This has turned out to be a true grail for me and that's not something that's normal for me and my collection.
