Where are the HT X-Men Trilogy figures?

No, there's no teaser pics from Sina Weibo, Tomm Wong Jr or Hot Toys Community...but where are the bleeding figures? I never bought the first Wolvie from HT, the sculpt just didn't look like Jackman.

In 2009, there was this picture:

And it got everyone really stoked. Now both Blade and Spidey have seen representations figure wise. I'm just venting and aching for a great figure of Singer's X-Men. Anyone with any inside info like Wookster, Gully Foyle, other lurkers please feel free to chime in. I'm hoping X1 or X2 gets teased or announced soon, and yes I'm aware this post will draw out there 'where's MGS/Green Lantern' folks too.

When they announced Avengers and TDKR and Prometheus, my first thought was "what about the licenses not yet even started that were announced ages ago?????"

I think they oppted to start with First Class and work backwards. Same way they started with SM3, they were just picking the most recent iteration of the franchise

Avatar was first announced December 2009, then announced again with Spider-Man 3, Smooth Criminal, The Expendables and Resident Evil Afterlife in August 2010.

I would think X-Men would be a licence to print money since you could just release unique figures, each with a fan following, on a continual basis.

The fact they have not even made an X-Men film version of Wolverine kind of floors me. That might be the single most popular Marvel figure, based on the sales and bootlegging of the civilian Logan.

This is what I was thinking as well. They might also have decided that there isn't enough money to be made with the X-Men line, but that wouldn't make much sense to me because quality 1/6th Jean Grey, Cyclops, Colossus, Nightcrawler, and Magneto would be cash cows.

Hot toys like to make the same character or similar characters over again as much as possible, so they can reuse the molds.

They Could make a lot of money if they made a whole team of X-Men or other licenses with a few awesome characters. But they can't reuse the same stuff.

So unless they can make a TON of money for doing as little as possible they probably won't bother... Sad really.

It could be that the are considering going ahead with a whole new Wolverine be it based on the trilogy or the new movie which was to be release in the summer but will most likely come out maybe in fall of 2012 or even later.

Iron man mark 1 going for 700, wolverine was still reaching that level that could be a factor

I'd personally pick up a magneto, xavier, storm, wolverine and jean grey from the trilogy. I hated how Cyclops was portrayed in the movies, playing second string to wolverine. I realize Wolverine is the face of Marvel but they could've gave Cyclops a more prominent role. The third really wasn't his doing since he did jump ship with Singer.

Here's hoping this new trilogy gives us a more competent Cyclops. Zoe Saldana as storm ftw! Sorry just wanted to get that out there!

The X-Men require different head sculpts of course, but the outfits are all just variations on a theme and the accessories would be minimal.

Medicom was able to do a nice X-outfit for the X3 Wolverine years ago, so I think that should be within HT's ability.

Maybe then Cyclops and Storm.

Hoping we at least get Magneto from First Class soon. Maybe they decided to wait till the sequel?
