I for one want and would buy any and all x-men releases, as this is the series I am most into. From Hot toys point of view, maybe they think they will not sell well, as other than alternative hands they can not really provide they figures with much if any accessories. They furthest they could go with cyclops is to put a red led behind his visor inside the sculpt. Though if they release a Magneto from first class, and get a huge response to it showing that there are fans to the series, I pray that they will then move on with others. The main question after when will we see them should be how long are the liciences contracted for?

Hot Toys should reveal a new license announcement every couple of weeks, and only release 1 figure per license, with no exceptions. That would be cool.

Can we post this question to Hot Toys maybe on Facebook or were ever they respond it would be nice to get an offical word on whether or not they will be going forward with this line.

I just found this thread. It's good to see there are other X-Men trilogy fans out there. Here are my medicom custom X-Men so far. I still want to make a Beast, Jean Grey, Kitty Pride, Angel, and Rogue but here is who I have.

X Men no longer "in" or "hot" in the movies.
Too much time has passed....

I agree. These will most likely never be made but then again look at 89 bats and reeve supes. I never would have thought those would be made. Of course I'm not interested in them but that's beside the point.

I didn't like the movies at first because I was such a huge xmen comic fan but they have grown on me. Especially now with amazing collectable figures like we are seeing. I really hated wolverine origins when it came out but the figure makes me want to watch it more.

I'm starting to think these will never happen... we'll prob get First Class figures and HT will hope we forgot about these. :lol

Good point, HT really only does current, hot properties - like Spiderman 3, Superman, 89 Batman, Bruce Lee, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Alien, Terminator. It would be just stupid to do figures based on a successful franchise of films that happens to be the only game in town with regard to big screen adaptations of the X-Men...such an obscure title. Much better to release a Nicholas Cage "Ghost Rider" figure!

89 Batman is a iconic look.

The suits in X-Men aren't.

I agree... all the titles you listed were iconic looks or film characters... X-Mens outfits were not iconic at all and pretty bland/lame. I know I personally don't want a shelf full of them in black leather, etc... especially considering that by the time they get more than two out, X-Men First Class 2 will be out :lol

At least the FC outfits were yellow/blue and a bit closer to the source material. I prefer figs from First Class over any of the trilogy figures already.
