Where is Frodo??

I got the Spidey PF yesterday Nash, and I absolutely love it! The fabric/sculpt mixture is really amazing (its my first PF) and I really like the pose. It doesn't translate well in the pics on SSC's site but it really is striking in person. I can't imagine Hulk and Cap when they get here because Hulk definitely is a sight to be seen and Cap....well is Cap. I definitely love the PF line and for the price paid couldn't ask for a better Spidey. Although the crotch seam is amazingly noticeable.

That's why I like Frodo, there is a lot of fabric over the sculpted piece which I like but I think I'll still wait on the sidelines for it in case my Hulk PF converts...

As has already been mentioned the Leia PF had terrible eye paint on the website then when they shipped they all looked fine.

I finally found that old Leia picture:

Mine definitely didn't look like that when she finally showed up, so I am not going to panic about Frodo.

That has my hopes up for Frodo. My Leia is perfect, and a very underrated piece IMO.

that's sweet, im just not sure if I should buy a spidey pf now or wait for stuff from SM3 to come out.

I do notice the giant highlighted text, but I tend to order pretty quickly after things go up for sale. Living through Star Wars pre-orders has heightened my reflexes, even when they aren't needed like for this item. I am just glad to see that Frodo will be on his way soon, and then we can have a chicken little thread with in hand pics!

I sold all of my SSW stuff to buy an engagement ring for my fiance, so it is nice to start collecting some LOTR stuff again.

Just cancelled my Frodo PF... looking forward to getting it for a $100 less on eBay (and I don't mean getting it for $150 on eBay but what I save in shipping and brokerage fees). Regular Lurtz can be had for $280 easy on eBay. Frodo will go for $200. So says Beren.

That's how much they sold for at retailers. With no exclusive, I have no idea why anyone would buy this direct from SS.

To get him without having to wait for retailers. I went through Bob because I needed to save a few bucks. I don't think this will go dor $100 on ebay though as someone said. There are only 1000 Frodo's out there period it's not like most items where there are say 2000 Exclusives and 3500 Regulars.

If you're that impatient that you can't wait an extra 5-10 days then you really need to take a long look in the mirror. I'll take the savings any day of the week.

Everybody had it until they announced the ES. Of course that was about 7 months ago. I've seen him at either Northside Collectibles or Alter Ego. Sorry, can't remember which.
