Yes. That's the only way I can imagine it happening. Zombie Stan Winston threatening Hot Toys employees.

By the way, why isn't this a poll--"Should Hot Toys release T2 Battle Damaged T-800 soon?" Somebody get R done.

so let's say the BD and Cyberdyne get done soon to commemorate 20th anniversary, what will we have for the 25th then?

Where's Butters?

Re: Where is HT Battle Damaged T-800?

I would be very shocked if they didnt make a bd version. Maybe once the t-1000 ships we will get a teaser pic.

Re: Where is HT Battle Damaged T-800?

I'd be surprised if they went with a BD T2 T-800 since they've made one already. HT has never re-issued or revisited past figures for their regular release. The only chance we'd get an updated T2 T-800 would be in their DX line, and I'm pessimistic that they'd do it. How are they going to incorporate PERS in the BD head? Or they might give us a clean head with the PERS and a BD head with a light-up gimmick.

HT has surprised us numerous times before, however, so there's still a chance that they'll pull one on us :)

I don't think that HOT TOYS had the rights to Arnolds likeness when they made that earlier HT BD T800 which was not a T2 but a T1 I think they will revisit that past figure and give us a newer BETTER version and redeem the line. It would be a huge seller and HOT TOYS would only benefit from putting it out. Its all about $$$ and it makes sense to do it.

Early or later, it's a matter of time :exactly:

Yea most likely. Or the value of the T-800 will sky rocket almost immediately. I think the main reason that the value for the Arnie T-800 is still pretty low is because of all the hopeful people that are waiting for a BD/FB/DX T-800. I think when they finally announce it, it will be epic.

Re: Where is HT Battle Damaged T-800?

I want T1 figures as much as the next guy but I'd be severely pi$$ed off if they just dropped T2 before doing a BD T-800....and the 10 year old kid with the silly mop hair.

Get over "little John" already.

It's coming, it's all coming. New (details???) endoskeleton, dioramas, T1 in various stages of damage, all the weapon candy you can ever desire. We may even see a diorama with Sarah pushing the button and squeezing our beloved "tin man".

Is it a BD T1? If so, then we could get the BD T2 in the MMS line after all! :D

Re: Where is HT Battle Damaged T-800?

if they release a Cyberdyne version that's pretty much the same figure as the T-800, will you be buying this just for the new accessories minigatling and thumper, gloved hands or will you just buy loose pieces off of Ebay to add on to the current T-800 you already own?

Probably the whole figure to pose separately IF there isn't another version after that one.
