Instead, they will pay the price for their lack of vision. :emperor

No, instead, they make us pay the price for our lack of vision. These ERT's probably will sell, because a lot of fans think they need them...

The collector in me says: yes! buy! make your collection complete!
The homo sapiens in me says: don't let Sideshow fool you! they just want your money! You don't need three Endor Rebel Troopers! One is more than enough!

So you're in for one then.

I will get at least one. I don't know which one though. Depending when they come out I might get all of them. But if they are 1st qtr 2007 I will have to get just one , with Jabba and all and Boba. Hell I was thinking about Yoda too.

Initially but how long before we see a glut of them for sale on ebay?

If I ever decide I need all three Endor Rebels, that's where I'll pick them up. Cheap, in a year or so.

In the mean time, I'm holding out "background military figure" space for a Hoth Rebel. Those guys have the best outfit/gear.

And speaking of Jabba...

If there is one thing I have learned from my collecting addiction is that unless you are wealthy, you cannot have everything. With as big as this license is, my advice is to discreetly choose the items you absolutely cannot live without. I can live without these.

That will seriously depend on the ES of these. I hope it's large so I can save some money by getting them on the secondary market.

A very good point. I can afford the 12" line but must be more selective with the PF's. Though I know there are many who can't afford to be army builders.

Give me all three, then give me 2 Scout Troopers, 2 Stormtroopers and 1 Imperial Officer to go with 'em...and a large strawberry shake.

I voted all three because that's what I'll do if I buy any at all.

It's all or nothing for me. I can't possibly just get "one". I don't like playing favorites.

I will buy all three but I just hope they dont have such small edition sizes. I could see them allowing us to order two of each. Maybe these will be the first figures to not be exclusives.

Yeah, maybe the exclusives will be limited to a certain window... but then for the 'army builder' aspect they should leave the regulars open for quite a while.

I do agree that all the army builder type figures should be open ended but that kinda goes against the limited collectible part of these figures.

I personally wouldn't mind it at all if they didn't set any kind of edition size for the army builder figures and continue making them available for up to a year. I know if that were the case with Stormtroopers for example, instead of just getting two, there's no telling how many I would accumulate if I could space them out and order them during slow times for SS.

Again, I don't see this happening, bigger ES maybe, unlimted highly doubtfull.

My guess is the "hoodie guy" or one of the others is the "standard" figure and the other two will be Sideshow site exclusives (like Jabba's throne). Otherwise if there is no exclusives, many people will be ordering elsewhere. Unless they give us a deal like by 2 get one free kind of thing. Or they just simply have exclusives.

Isn't the point of an "army builder" line to allow people to buy as many as they want? What if some army junkie wants 3 sets of 3?
In that case, the junkie can only buy one inclusive edition of each trooper, and buy as many regular editions as he can afford afterwards. If there's a 2 piece limit on the regular edition, he can still get on the wait list once the regular edition is sold out, and hope he get's some more soldiers. That way he should at least be able to get 3 sets ($ 540 + shipping). More, if the individual wait lists come through.
