Pass. Even as a kid, I never cared about the Endor trooper. Now, more than ever, I want a Sideshow Admiral Ackbar.

Yes, Ackbar! Love that dude, will be a great piece! Good call CM! :D

You can bet that if these three clowns sell they will do that with all of the aliens too.

I think Tarkin would have been great to kick of the line. His ouftit is simple (and could be reused with very slight modifcations for other officers), he is very reconginzable, he is a bad guy, he was in ANH (30th Ann. next year), etc.

My first thought was that these would be inclusive for the army builders, but one as regular, one as a sideshow exclusive and one as a retailer exclusive that someone else (sorry I forgot or I'd give you credit :D ) posted could definately be a possibility.

Pass. The only "army building" I will do is with 2-3 stormtroopers and clonetroopers.

None for me. I'm no army builder, and there's nothing about these figures that is even remotely interesting to me. A stormtrooper or clonetrooper has some very interesting and detailed armor, and that represents something from the movie that I would like to display in my colelctions. But three nameless figures with basically the same costume and different head sculpts just doesn't light my fire.

Now, put Leia and Luke in Endor Rebel costumes, and I'd buy them in a second.

I'm not interested enough to get these, but I'm thrilled they are doing these guys right in such lavish quality. That's doing them right. Very class act, Sideshow!

It's an odd choice to start the line if these are indeed starting the line. I'm all about SW and the characters in it be it major or not. I mean I've bought Orc Statues from the SSW line.

Yep, and I passed on almost all of the nameless Orc statues from SSW, for pretty much the same reason that I am passing on these -- well, not exactly the same reason, since building diorama armies out of polystone statues is kind of difficult, and expensive ;).

True but then why is anyone who didn't plan on ordering these complaining. I understand it's that pesrsons right. Not saying they don't have that right nor that they shouldn't but if these where never in the plans then why bother?

Because if SSC is really only producing 10-12 of these figures per year there are a zillion better characters to be allocating 25% of an entire year's worth of offerings in only the 2nd year of the line.

THAT, to me, is the main reason why these are uber-lame. I wouldn't be buying these whether they announced them now or 3 years from now, but the timing does make it worse.
