I'm sure this will get moved but it can get a push here. Everyone seems EXTREMELY opinionated on which they prefer. Me...Iron Man. All new and pretty exciting. Loved TDK but you already had BB to build from. Less work needed. Also, without Ledger that movie would have fallen like a house of cards. He was oscar brilliant.

hahahahhah, anyone who says the movie would have flopped without ledger is ignorant.. the hype had been building up for this movie for 3 years.. and the other actors in the movie were solid. ledger was like icing on a cake for the movie.

Anyone who thinks it would not have folded is cinematically illiterate. Thanks for proving the point. BTW, what other actors? Bale and a bunch of 2nd-4th tier actors.

i agree TDK was only good because of LEDGER and theres no way TDK is better than IRON MAN

TDK was agreat movie, don't get me wrong. But at the end of the day, as dark as it wasm it's still the sixth or seventh Batman film, and it still took plenty of ideas from other movies. IRON MAN on the other hand was the first film featuring that character, and IMO it was ALOT more unique and entertaining than TDK.

Hmmmm. I really liked both movies for different reasons. Robert Downey Jr. was awesome as Stark- perfect even. The Iron Man movie itself was a bit boring. I really just don't like origin movies and I also thought the end battle was weak.

Now onto Batman, Ledger was UNBELIEVABLE- PERFECT!! He was actually scary good. Bale is getting stale but still the best batman the screen has seen. The story towards the end faltered but Ledger did make this movie brilliant. They better have another hidden Ace like Ledger up their sleeves for the next sequel or it's gonna suck.

Screen writing for TDK was top notch. IM story line way okay. Dialogue was eh. It should have gone straight to video.

TDK might not have been as popular if it wasn't for Ledger's performance and unfortunately more so for his death but it still would have been a strong movie. In no way did it's success hinge on Ledger.

As far as which one I'd say TDK simply because I had the urge to go see it a second time in the theater and still may see it again if I can whereas I was content with one viewing of IM and could wait til the DVD to see it again. Both awesome movies though.

Looks like all the Batman fanboys voting for the Darkknight are all Batman obsessed. Their signatures and avatars are covered with that freak. No way that's healthy. :lol

TDK should not even be compared to IM.

TDK was smart script writing. Unpredictable

I am pretty neutral on the subject, but I can't understand how you can say TDK is nothing without Ledger without acknowledging that IM would be nothing without RDJ.

have you guys seen the invincible ironman cartoon dvd? the ironman movie story was about as good as that movie..
