Yeah, that's what I am wondering as well... I haven't been able to find them..

Hey guys,

I ordered both my HT BB and SR at Toy Square, they are the only distributors in North America for these HT items I believe. And keep in mind each item is limited to ONLY 800 pieces produced so the worldwide demand is high.

Toy Square is located in Canada so you will save on s/h vs Hong Kong (typically $35). I am providing a link to their site and recommend you register as a member first, then email them and request a discount coupon which should come in handy if you are ordering multiple items. I don't know if they will grant a coupon (10%), but if you don't ask, you won't receive one.

Here ya go my friends,

I emailed them and they told me they only offer coupons during Christmas and when they have items go on clearance. I still ordered Batman and Supes from them.

Thanks PJam, I just ordered from them. 260 shipped seemed like a good price. 119 is the most I've paid for a single 12" figure lol.

Same here, they won't charge your cards until the item ships so if you can find a better deal, more power to ya. 130 ttl/item aint that bad though considering once these are sold out, good luck finding one for under 150 without s/h, especially once SR is released late June. I saw a HT Supes go for over 150 excl s/h last week on Ebay from Asia. Doubt you'll find one on ebay for under 150 shipped...

800 Pieces Worldwide is extremely limited.

Can't believe that noone have mentioned Weta's new Superman line. HT and Medicon doesn't do anything for me.
Weta got two superb pieces which is way above these other "toys" IMO

This isn't exactly related, but I thought I'd post it here anyway...

Finally got the mold made for George. The castings are coming out really nice. I've also done 'flying' hands to go with him. What do you think?
On topic, I've got the HT version on order from ABC express; Medicom and DC Direct just don't cut it for me...PS

Wha? I've been ordering from them for years and never received any discounts. :monkey2
Yeah, Toys Square is the best bet but I do think these will show up in other 1/6 stores here in the US. Just Email and ask if they're going to carry them at some point in time. If they will have some available expect to save about half on shipping. I know Eric (MisterToyNYC) carries Hot Toys figures, maybe he can get a few of these? (www.redplanettoys.com)

One thing you all should know about Toy Square, they have a Cancellation clause :

Q: I've already placed an order, but I want to cancel it, can I do it?

A: If you decide to cancel an order before it has been sent out, please send us an email with the authorization order number that was given when the order was placed. You will be refunded 90% of the total amount; the 10% deducted is for administration and handling fees for cancellation.

Also, RPT has a similar clause. Personally I hate this type of thing because I've had to cancel pre-orders several times due to unforeseen costs and the occasional off shipping schedule of certain Sideshow figures. But I do understand how it can protect smaller stores that can't preorder more then they can handle.

Good advice

I asked around and couldn't find anyone else carrying them as of a few weeks ago so I'm cool with at least knowing I'll get one of each. The HT SR and BB are scheduled to ship Late June/Early July according to Toy Square.

I hope some other stores carry it but it's starting to get a little late in the game I would think.

Yea, it's better to be safe than sorry. Not worried about paying 20 or so extra as long as I get em.

I'm joining the consensus here, Hot Toys is the best version by far.

That's a understatement.

I still can't believe that Medicom Superman is a $150. It in no way compares to the HT one.

The Hot Toys head is way too large for the body. Medicom's materials are also more accurate. I love their cape. It's leathery, just like the movie cape. (pic)

And their Clark Kent looks exactly like Routh (pic), which gives me much more faith in their Superman (which I have yet to see a good close-up of):

That looks like a Ken Barbie Doll....Really.

The Hot Toys Superman looks the best from the pictures.

If the Clark Kent Medicom figure has a "Ken doll" appearance, it's because Routh himself rather resembles a Ken doll, IMO....

You would know best, wouldn't you?

Of course ,I'm buying it for my Barbie collection.. CF cant admit Hot Toys better than Medicom by far....But than again..a comment by a guy who thinks the 30'' Superman by Mattel is a fantastic figure  doesnt mean much for me...
