Which HPP are left to produce?
Not counting Mark 8 - 14 (minus the Mark 9 that was released)

Mark 16 - Nightclub
Mark 18 - Casanova
Mark 19 - Tiger
Mark 28 - Jack
Mark 29 - Fiddler
Mark 31 - Piston
Mark 32 - Romeo
Mark 34 - Southpaw
Mark 37 - Hammerhead

They will finish the HPP. But seeing how HT's operates, I was looking through the entire HPP armors and I think there are 3 that stick out as being POTENTIALS for retro versions. Shotgun, Starboost and Striker/Gamma. The others mostly have red and gold versions. Or close to it.

That does sound like what I was thinking if Hot Toys were to make more Retro Armors.

Anyone have any ideas of pics of homemade hall of armors? I missed out on the foam ones sideshow did but I've been thinking about how best to display all of my armors. I'd love to do a half circle shape like I've seen but I'd be making it myself. Anyone done this?

Of course depending on what colors they decide to make Nightclub, that could be added to the 3 retro possibles. As well as Hammerhead. Igor could be added, but I can't image that would happen.

Just to point out, the two that have gotten retro treatments so far are Bones and Sneaky- two that were unique "one offs" that don't have repaint variants in the HPP already (Striker/Gamma, Centurion/Blue Steel, Shotgun/Shades, Heartbreaker/Tank, Mk7/Midas, Mk8/Piston, Mk9/Python, Mk11/Jack, Mk12/Disco, Hot Rod/WM2), and thus less opportunity to sell copies of. Going by that logic, I'd imagine someday we'd see a variant Starboost, and after they make them, variant Hammerhead and Nightclub (a black Nightclub, since they changed it to red and gold for the film). Don't know if they'd risk it, but Igor would be a candidate as well.

I don't see Igor looking good as a Retro look.

As for Nightclub, that might be the only alternate version I buy over the original. I'd prefer the black version instead of the red and gold they used in the movie.

Here's a photoshop somebody made a while back of what it would look like. I dig the blue more. I wouldn't have minded him with more of a Striker paint job though.

There is concept art in the IM3 book with red and gold, it was the Hulkbuster look before we had Hulkbuster

But yeah Nightclub looks great its original dark scheme

I actually love Igor in the art concept pic. And if they make Nightclub like the art concept pic or the other pic, I would love it.

I'm working on one myself. Should be finished in a month or so.

Just finished the test fit for my custom Hall of Armor. Now to get all the mirrors ordered and etch the rest of the glass.

Ignore the dirty glass and mirrors, it was just a quick mockup of the final design. Also ignore that I used Python for Sneaky's display, he was just easier to grab.

The stands will also light up as well, just don't have the wire running through the bottom yet.

One down, 25 to go.

Very nice. Well done. I can't imagine it was ( and they will ) be cheap to make.
Thanks, been about 6 months in the making. It was the trial and error that cost the most. I'm buying in bulk for all parts and hopefully going to sell on the side for around $75/each, ready to assemble with only 10 screws.

For now, I'm cutting my own mirrors. The wood will eventually be cut to perfection when I order the cnc machine. Then I can cash in on the light up Hulkbuster stands I'm designing.

Might as well turn my free time into money.

You know what Hot Toys should do for the Marks VII, X, XI, XII, XIII, XIV is release them in two packs. That way it would make it easier for the people who want to collect all of the armors.

That would be nice. It would really help since they are kinda companion figures. 2 pack would still be $500 I'm sure.

I'm thinking like $220-$250 for each. Depends on the detail of the armor.
True. I had no problem dropping $250 on Shades, I think that's a fair price (even for a repaint). So if they can stick to that $220-$250 sweet spot for the rest of the HPP, I'll be happy.

I do imagine Hammerhead will push closer to $300 though.
