it's a really nice piece but with the Red Skull, and Thor pfs' I have on order I'm gonna let this go.

I still don't get why everyone is presuming this will be some sort of grail piece later on. Look at the lack of interest in it now, let alone later. I may eat my words but I highly doubt it.

The Gore group really did do a fantastic job on this though. Very nice detailing. I especially like the sea of skulls on the base. Very morbid.

I agree with you on both parts.

It won't be a grail, I think the flippers/scalpers are trying to create hype like with the bronze bowen pieces. It's a great sculpt, but the fan base for both characters is very,very low. If Gore had done, like... Cable/Deadpool...Juggernaut/Hulk...Surfer/Thanos...no ones WL would probably get converted, or very, very few.

As brought up in an aformentioned post, even some of the grails had gone through Second Chance status. Like the Dr. Doom and Hulk PFs.

These guys are in denial and trying to justify not spending $350 for this the best they can. I'll be laughing when they all eat their words. If you look at the quality of detail and dynamics of this piece, no matter if the two characters are on the more obscure side, this diorama trumps them all, even the xmen vs sentinel 1.

Those are some hefty shoes to fill. I'll need to see this in hand before I can make any real comparisons. I will say this, it certainly has the chance to be the most impressive of any VS piece to date (not just Marvel, but all of them). The detail in the base seems similar to the detail in Doom's throne.

I was just looking at pics and I'm afraid that once I get it in hand, I won't want to let it go if it does take off.

I thought the exact same thing, looks like Doom's throne. I think there is even more detail in this base.

I'm guessing Darkman will be readily available later for close to or less than retail. I don't think darkman has that huge of a following compared to Mavel.



Other than X-Men #1 with all the cool twinkling and flashing LED's, this seems to be the best light-up feature yet with the incorporation of the translucent vampire/lava effect.

Do you love the piece? If so I say go ahead and snap it up. You're paying a lot less than the rest of us, who have to pay that price + shipping, and for us non American residents, even duties.

btw The DIM weight this thing is listed at alone will make shipping this bugger lots of $$$. Worst case scenario, if you do buy it, you maybe able to make some coin on it in the future. One thing I know for certain, you won't lose any money on it. Especially at that price.
