That's not really an issue, it works very well at the moment without making people sick. The technology will improve and the costs will go down ($400 now for the Oculus Rift + Controllers vs. $800 original cost)
The big thing is getting quality games, and there are some there, but most of the time they're short experiences since developers are reluctant to put too much into a game that won't be able to sell a lot due to the smaller market.
 
I'm one of those people that really, really, really wants VR to succeed. I want to see it blow past any limitations people set for it and redefine how we perceive gaming as well as what sorts of things are possible in an interactive experience. I'm also one of those people who is way too cheap to invest in that future.:lol

My first experience with vr other than avoiding virtualboy was the Aladdin carpet ride at disney. I got lucky and was pulled out of the crowd to do a test demo on it. So awesome. I think it eventually made it into disney quest. That place had some pretty cool vr stuff as well. I might decide to jump into vr next year or whenever a few real games are released. Fallout and Skyrim are promising.
