I DO find it pretty sad that she allowed herself to get in this position, as Prog said... we all must be accountable for our actions.

BUT, the thing I don't get... Conservatives are all about the sanctity of life for babies in the womb, so what about this ladies 10 kids? Should they be left in extreme poverty, sickness, etc? Or does the compassion end after a child is born?

Situations like this are tricky, do you deny aid and let these kids suffer for their ignorant parent's mistake? Or do you grant aid and perpetuate her stupidity? It's an insane decision, and a hard one to make without having a sour taste in your mouth.

I'm just saying it's not so cut and dry. That's all.

The children here are absolutely innocent, you do feel bad for them, at least I do.How did she get into this situation. Did her husband die fighting in Iraq? Did he run off?? At some point we must accept responsibility for our actions, if you see you can't raise 5 kids, STOP at 5 kids, don't keep having children, they are the ones who will suffer.

Exactly. The kids did nothing but just be born into this mess. She should have done something to keep herself from getting into such a bad situation, condoms are free at local clinics afterall. :lol

I wish there was a way to curb this kind of thing from happening, but there is no way that doesn't violate her personal rights. Sad but true.

I agree, I was just curious if you recognized both sides of it and wasn't the ying to their yang.

I understand that. No, I'm not one of those blind liberals who believes only what they want to. I try to be as impartial as I can, let logic decide my reactions.

I hate that this kind of thing goes on. People like her are draining the system for every penny it has, and it sucks. My parents were poor, both of them had no education at all. We had to rely on food stamps and welfare checks to survive. Now it was only my parents, myself and my sister... And they didn't stay on the benefits, they eventually worked their way out of it. But that help really kept us from having to eat grass or garbage.

But people like this lady are unexcusable. She knew she was bad off at child number 3, but kept going. And she will no doubt be on aid programs until she is old and gray. There is something wrong there....

I think the biggest question is. Who are the guys she's finding? Surely she's not bringing home a guy to a house full of 10 kids. If she is, I'd love to see the look on that guys face when he sees two basketball teams in the living room.

And what drug is she giving them to sleep with her in the first place, cause she is UGLY.

:lol Yeah, sadly the world is full of desperate horny guys looking for an easy lay. I'm sure she fits the bill, judging by her house full of kids.

Exactly, after you were having a hard time with your first kids, STOP right there. My wife and I always talked about having 3 kids, we have 2. As much as we want one more, we really financially cannot. A tough decision for us , but we both agree we are blessed at 2. Back to this woman it's a tough call.

You are right on the money there. That's the kind of accountablity that is needed from Americans. I know my Wife and I want to start our family, but we know that money is waaay too tight to even think about it yet. So we are waiting until things are a bit more stable.

I think that one day there will be policy in effect to control population, probably around the world. I don't know if it will be right, but I'm sure it will happen. It needs to happen...

When my ex and I had our second we qualified for WIC, we never took it though because we knew that if we watched our spending we could do it. I'm not as heartless as some of you think. I do believe in programs to help people. Women like this though give the whole system a bad name. Hopefully the kids take their education and do something with it and not continue the cycle.

The squeaky stupid wheels always get the grease...

It really sucks. I agree that Aid programs need to exist for those who find themselves in tight situations, but not like it is now. It's far too easy for people to just let the Gov. shoulder the bill for their lives.
