That will cost you.
I love the olympics, be it Summer or Winter games. I definitely am going to Vancouver in 2010 to see some of the events. That is my dream to see a few olympic hockey games (GOLD MEDAL GAME!!!), female figure skating :)D)), all the downhill skiing, speed skating, and snow boarding events.

For the Summer games, I am mostly into the team sports....

Especially women's volleyball and beach volley ball.

Soccer, baseball, basketball...

Running: Sprint, and long distance.

Swimming, some of the gymnastics.

Pole-vault.. see avatar... Allison mmmmm

Anyway, I just watched an hour of olympic coverage today. Plan on watching more during the following days.

Im mostly watching the basketball, taekwondo, volleyball, and gymnastics.

I love the Summer Games. Cause we usually kick ass!! I'll watch most of it really. Basketball, Track and Field, Beach Volleyball, Gymnastics, Soccer, etc.

I wont be glued to the tele but being a lover of most sports i will be clicking up a few hrs.

The problem with coverage in my country is, it's just the events our country is in. Is it the same for everyone else? I'm most interested in Taekwondo, Archery and Weight Lifting. So will only probably get to see some weight lifting.

We get to see every single event which is cool.

Will be watching alot of it but the Rowing and the Track and Field sports.

The opening ceremony was really something, no way will London be able to out do that in 2012.

I'm all about the soccer! Or football as they say around the world. :D
I'm following track and field too because one of my friends is on the team this year in Beijing.

I'll watch nearly anything shown. Those that are that gifted and that focused to even qualify for the Olympics in pursuit of excellence deserves all the attention they can get.

Canada came in 2nd overall just a medal or two behind Norway in the last Winter Olympics. Not bad for two countries that are under 10 million and around 30 million in population. In Vancouver 2010, Canada expects a 1st place finish. Our cousins of the south, Australia who are more of a Summer country, dominate the Summer Olympics... and they have what? 20 million for a population?

Gotta love us smaller countries for kicking some ass too! :rock

Womens Volley Ball, Gymnastics, ahhhhh hell.........Anything with the women to be frank. :lol:monkey5:lol

Yeah, we usually don't do as well in the Winter Games but its nice to see the small countries do well in events we aren't in.

Who's the hot blonde who looks like Jessica Simpson?

Beach Volleyball? Kari Walsh is her name.

watching men's volleyball right now. i usually just turn it on while im doing other things like posting on geek forums. i perfer the winter games. much more interesting.

Two words: Women's Diving :naughty

I love the Olympics, I'll be watching it off and on over the next two weeks.

Anyone else having problems seeing the entire screen on a non-high-def TV? Mine is getting cut off big time so I can't read the scores, but I'm just watching on a CRT for now...

I don't think I'll be able to catch all these events, but I'll try my best to be glued to the TV as much as possible.:D
