I voted no, but I may change my mind. Hell I even bough Kit when he came out so maybe the quality of the figure will change my mind. But probably not, at leat Kit was cool in the CW cartoon. Plo not so much. Still a great piece for those who want him.

Personally I have no intention of buying every figure made, I just don't have the space and I'm also collecting the 12" LOTR figures.

There are certain backgroud characters that I do intend to buy and then there is the upcoming "Military line" (I see myself getting quite a few there) but for the most part, I will sit most backgroud characters out.

Take for example "Bib Fortuna"... I find him cool and I am getting him. However, my main reason in doing so is because he completes the entire "Jabba Palace" scene (which I am getting). If I had decided to pass on "Jabba", I would have passed on "Bib" as well. I still would have gotten "Leia - Boushh" though!

At this moment, I can say that I have no interest in characters like "Captain Antillies" or even "Biggs" and "Wedge"... There just not important enough for me.

The problem with "Plo" and why I am undecided is because he's a "Jedi" and what can I say... I like Jedi! I don't plan on getting all the "Jedi" but I do plan on getting quite a few more! If they had announced "Obi Wan" (Ep. IV), "Mara Jade", "Aayla Secura" or "Shaak Ti"... This would have been a no brainer as I really want those characters but do I want "Plo"... I'm not sure? As I previously mentioned, I almost passed on "Kit" but changed my mind at the last moment and now I'm glad I have him!

In the end I think that "personal preferences" will play a big part here for this figure. Though I believe that most of those who passed on "Kit" (and did not regret it) will most likely pass on "Plo" as well.

Anyhoo, my first post in this thread. I will buy 'popcorn' head. I mean... yes he's a background Jedi but I actually rather have HIM than Kit Fisto. Just because he looks really really cool. Dialogue or not, he's rad. And he's the only one with a v-neck jedi robe or something isn't he?

I'm not tired of Jedi yet, though the jury is still out on Plo Koon. He's certainly one of the most interesting looking of the Master Jedi, but I'm picking and choosing and haven't decided if I'll KEEP him. I'll certainly preorder him ...

I'm actually kind of stoked about 2nd or 3rd characters like Biggs, Wedge, etc. While I'll chiefly be sticking to main characters, I will be peppering my collection with some more obscure background folks ... especially Rebel and Imperial military characters.

I was gonna try to stay away from prequel stuff, but I just recently ordered Kit Fisto just because he's so cool looking so I'll probably end up ordering all of the weirdo looking alien jedi.

actually, you guys should be glad sideshow is bringing out these characters caz that can only mean that they're going around the WHOLE block of star wars characters which can only mean more figures
if they had just produce the major characters first, then how could they keep the fans coming back for the other characters?
