I think there's enough difference between the two to make it worthwhile. I mean, 20 years later, and a different actor in a different costume.

ROTS Obi-Wan and ANH Ben is the only variation I'd be supportive of this early in the line because they are so very different from each other. If SSC were to TPM or AOTC Kenobi, that would be too soon IMO.

I'm still holding out hope for ROTS Yoda.

I agree with Mikey, the OT and PT separation alone is enough to bring Old Ben out of exile...

Well what the hell would I want a Hasbro version for if I have a SS one! Hasbro has some nice looking 12" figures but thus far SS has blown them out of the water.

Can't blame you for that. I just hope we get her at some point. The success of the Kit Fisto figure has given me hope that she'll eventually be done.

Non shinny paint. Decent saber. Decent hands. MUCH better articulation for better poses. Again, a better overall piece. By your logic, why did they make Anakin since Hasbro already did.

I'm not denying they wouldn't do a better piece. That goes beyond saying. This might be a piece I'd pass on, it depends. I've got three SS figures coming of stuff Hasbro has made, and I'm just looking for someone we haven't seen in any form.

I actually enjoy Hasbro redos. It's fun to compare the quality and see the improvements. Everything has been stellar so far...for the exception of Han's jacket...

I hope so. And the more I think about it, the more I would like old Ben, repeat or not from the PF line. I'm eager for SS to produce the key principle characters from the SW saga. I love the aliens and things as much as everyone else here but I'd like to get going on the original OT heroes that started it all -- that includes droids, wookies, bounty hunters and troopers. If it wasn't for them, there would be no PT.
