Out of the millions of people that tune into most of those shows, I am sure not even 1% would buy high end action figures. This board is very much the minority.

I don't think thats all true, this board is just the tip of the iceberg and there are 10's of thousands or more collectors out there that don't visit this or other forums. I will agree that high end action figures are not found in most homes but nearly all homes have some kind collectible nick nac's or toys of some sort.

I don't think this hobbie will pass on to the next generation though cause for most kids now its all about games and phones so the connection to action figures will likely not turn into an obsession like it has for people who played with them in the 60's though the early 2000's.

All I know is I really want a good sixth scale walking dead collection and sideshow is the best company to make that line happen imho.

Walking Dead I could see you selling a decent amount but very much doubt you would be able to sell 10,000 $200+ Donald Drapers.

TV shows in general have usually lacked merchandise of any sort. Which I find very odd considering people watch a TV series for far longer amount of time than any movie. You know the characters better than ones in a movie, and you care about them more. And yet movies get all of the attention. :dunno

How about Breaking Bad? Pretty sure they would sell a good amount. Would be awesome to see someone do some more TV shows into figures. I know I'd like to see Dexter, Sons of Anarchy, Game of Thrones, Soprano's, The Sheild, Justified and the Wire, but thats just me so I guess thats why we have to resort to customs. I also don't mind that there aren't licensed figures cause I like kitbashing, its fun taking parts from other figures to make something a little different and unique which is why I prefer it to already made figures.

Problem is customs are invariably more expensive. Sometimes prohibitively so. Look at Katos work. An outfit can run you a thousand bucks. Whereas the new hot toys joker comes with clothes by Kato--along with everything else--for 250 or so bucks.

I would love to see some hot toys TWD
