Hello fellow collectors. Just a passing thought which I felt like sharing with you all. I have seen many anime as well as Marvel female figurines in various sexy and seductive poses. And some of them also come in Premium Format. But I have not seen any Playboy Playmates in Premium Format. Won't it be cool to have an entire shelf or detolf dedicated to Playboy Playmates? Also they will be equally sexy as Marvel hotties:)

I remember seeing 1/4 scale mixed media statues of Playmates before from a Playboy event. I'm pretty sure theyre not from Sideshow, but they do exist.

Sarvesh, would these figures have a likeness of any particular playmate (celebrity) or just some made-up woman?

Will they be completely nude or have on a lil rabbit costume (tail, leotard, bunny ears)?

Ya an actual resemblance to Playboy Playmate of the Year will be cool and will give it that authenticity too. As far as the full nudity is concerned, I feel it will be a controversial matter. It is better if they are just artistic and in some classy attire.:)

I have no interest in a bunch of random silicon bimbos. At least the Marvel chicks are super heroes :dunno. I just dont see any demand for them, but I'm sure you could get some commissioned if thats what you really want.

Well there are many bimbos who won't be sculpted into Premium Format but Playboy Playmate has that collectors value in it. I see the magazines also been put up as vintage collectibles and so do the posters which are signed. Same goes for these figurines if they are made in the future. They can be limited edition and signed.

Maybe insecure guys who casually use terms like "bimbos" that trash the very women they are into so much so that they want to own giant statues of them, should work more on relating to and respecting real women

That attitude of both lusting after and dispraging a woman for being sexy is classic misogyny by the way. I clicked on this thread because I just could see it going in a bad direction and sure enough...:thud:

i think there's a real market for it. if porn stars can sell castings of their private parts in silicon, why not a pf? :lol

Excuse me Ma'am? May I call you so? you seem to be one after reading the way you have replied to this thread. But before this goes in the wrong direction let me correct you on your statement where you have used words like "insecure guys" and "lusting" and so on and so forth, but for your kind information I am engaged and have a beautiful fiance. Also, I do respect women and not go around casually calling them bimbos. But at the same time let me make you aware of one practical fact which neither you nor I could change and that is men do lust for sex. Which is not wrong in any way as it is all a part of nature. But considering this very fact, not only men but even women have taken a great advantage of it and have converted it into a profit making business. I am sure you must be aware of the existence of different websites and places that promote women as objects of lust, desire and every man's fantasy and put a price on them if anyone wants to experience it. And these profit making ventures are not just started and owned by men but also women. And I believe no one forces them to be a part of such area of work but they choose to or do it with their own will to make money for themselves or for being famous or any personal issue or reason that may be. If this is happening in real, I don't think reel life is any different. Even superhero women are portrayed as sensual and seductive. And after taking into consideration all this, owning giant statues doesn't make any guy insecure or a pervert and neither does it mean anyone is disparaging women. And if whatever you said before made even a little bit sense in the practical world then people like Hugh Hefner or companies like Hustler, etc. etc. would have never been famous or even existed for that matter.

Another thing I would like to correct you on is that you mentioned calling a woman 'sexy' is classic misogyny. On this let me ask you if your man or husband calls you sexy is he showing hatred towards you? It is classic example of hypocrisy and contradiction on what you just said because as far as I know and have experienced and have also heard from many is women are more than happy when their husbands or partners think of them as sexy and also lust for them.

And lastly you mentioned that you just clicked this thread because you felt it was going in the bad direction but let me put this the other way round that just because you clicked it and replied, it has gone in the bad direction. I had started this thread with a clean intention and just from a collectors point of view and I am sorry to say this but your comments have been very boorish.

I would like to apologize to all or anyone who have been offended and also would like to make it clear that this thread was not started with the intention to disrespect the fairer sex in anyway, form or manner. Sadly, some people just like to accuse before giving the person a benefit of doubt.

I voted NO just because I have no interest, but I couldn't care less if they were made. I highly doubt it though.
