Would you be happy to have a Premium Format Playboy Playmates collection?

The answer is pretty simple. There can't be Premium Format Playboy Playmate Figurines because no one would play PF prices for them. There isn't one playmate, even the sacred Marilyn, worth $250+ IMHO and I guarantee you that when push came to shove and they started shipping they'd be canceled for other items everytime. There'd be one that hung out like the Van Helsing PF on Sideshow's site forever.

Just for example purpose I drew this. I know it is not detailed artwork but just a rough idea. And there can be many interesting and intellectually naughty concepts. Just an example though.:)

Will try to make a detailed drawing later. Even if you'll have some cool ideas and can put them on paper then nothing like it. :)

Good info dude. But as I mentioned before the reason they might have not sold would be the lack of realistic finish to them. Lookin at this photo you posted it just looks like a barbie doll and not like a collectible statue.

Understood, just showing that Playboy did try the Premium Format route whether it was well received or not.

yeah, why cant there be pf playmates?

i would think hetero guys would rather collect those rather than buffed-up muscle men in rainbow colored spandex all the time. seems like a much healthier option to me.

but then again, why pay $250 for a resin of a woman, when with that kind of money you can get a real woman to 'do' things to you? :cuckoo:

:lol .. some days I wonder why I dont just sell all this dumb collecting ____...

:D:D:D:D Point to be noted:wink1:

i dont want to condone that kind of behavior though, just mind you. someone already buggered me with that comment. get a girlfriend, or pay for sex, do whatever you want.

I understand. It is pretty annoying when there is unthoughtful accusation and it just sounds so like a hypocrite.

With $250 depending on how low your standards, you can get a bunch of real women to 'do' things to you and have a big ol' orgy.... er' I mean party.

Currently . . . there is only one company that I know of . . . that could pull off producing Playboy Playmate figures . . . not necessarily a premium format size, but in 1:6 . . . but it's cost prohibitive from a licensing, marketing, and production standpoint.

If you are suggesting Triad I would say epic fail. All their female head sculpts look like fugly drag queens. Their bodies are nothing to write home about either. Just look at Barb Wire.

:lol:lol guys lets not discuss what all can be done with $250 with respect to the fairer sex as there are some overtly sentimental fellow freaks who feel that we are disparaging them.:wink1:

aisofjiohg I was quite drunk when I typed that :rotfl probably because that would make the female part of sideshow consumers have a serious fall in numbers

Interesting but they are pretty small and they look more like dolls and not realistic.

They are around 13" tall, so as far as 1/6 scale goes they're quite tall relatively speaking.

The Enchanted Doll figures are close stylistically to some of the Japanese anime-style erotic figures that can be bought at huge expense. I'd prefer something more realistic too, but at the risk of being howled down by the puritans, I would really like a nude that is, well... nude.

I want a female figure that I can pose 'au natural'. I'm an artist and designer and I see nothing perverted about wanting a figure to have it's 'rudey-bits' included in the sculpting details.

Shame the consensus here seems to be that there wouldn't be a market for it, but I'd be surprised if the Europeans and Japanese wouldn't go for accessibly-priced nude figures.
