I'm not really an Iron Man fan, but the stealth version of two of the items from Iron Man I really like so they are in my collection. I'm an Alien, Predator and Terminator fan, but hated the design of the PredAlien from the movie, but I have the concept PredAlien on order. If the movie isn't to my liking but the charactor/design is, well, I try to get it.

AvP is done. No body likes them, and they're not making money.

Why is it not called Predator 3? Well, thank the AvP movies for that one. By ^^^^ing with the continuty, they have to restart the entire franchise. So they wont have to refrence the previous films. Like Batman Begins.

Yea i dont get it, they set up AVPR for a sequel? so now they do PREDATORS, which is in some way supposed to be a remake of the first one? just the fact they plan on calling it PRedators... Sounds like they ripped off Aliens. Yea lets call Alien "alien" the sequel "Aliens" and then the 3rd one "alien3", and then Alien:ressurection. so now we can expect this to be the Predator movie order, Predator1,Predator2,Predators. then they will probably make PREDATORS VS ALIENS. kind of like The Fast and The Furious, and then FAST AND FURIOUS. WHO the ^^^^ names these movies?

yea but its dumb, it should be Predator 3. and Aliens should have been Alien 2, and then when we saw the movie we'd find out there were more than 1. Do they just want to make it well known that in this movie there will be more than 1 predator? Like they think everyone is gonna be like,

"Predator 3? aww man no thanks i dont care about another Predator messin up some people. and the movie makers are like NNONONONO there is PREDATORS this time . and the watchers say omg really this is way better now!"

? like leave some surprise element to the movie for christ sake

Alien 2 is a horrible title. Aliens is one of the best titles ever. It's simple, and fits.

I really only like Predator (the first movie). I thought AvP was pretty good too not the Requiem one.

However the 1:1 Wolf bust is the best most affordable kickass 1:1 pred out there that makes girlies freak out and scream when they walk around the corner in my house. Yeah his movie sucked. As a prop collectible though find me a P1 for 695 shipped that kicks this much ass...

I thought I hated AVP until I saw AVP:R and discovered what true hate is.

I'm not knocking anybody for buying stuff from these movies, since some of the designs are cool, but there are lots of cool looking collectibles out there. There's more than enough stuff from my favorite films, so I don't feel the need to buy things from properties that I don't have an emotional connection with.

I can bet you that the majority of people buying AVP and AVP:R stuff are doing it in spite of the movies and not because of them. They loved the original Alien or Predator movies, and can overlook the flaws of the newer ones because they can still revisit some of the feelings they had for the classic films. The same can be said for the newer Star Wars films, I think (although the Star Wars prequels are soooooo much better than AVP or AVP:R it isn't even funny).

Aliens didn't need the suprise element that there were more aliens because even though everyone probably knew this they didn't care after the movie was so well made. They were too busy with the storyline which actually kept you sucked in.
I had more fun looking at other peoples dissapointed faces watching avp-r regardless of how many aliens or predators there were.

Alien and predator movies can do well wheter theres one or two creatures/monsters whatever , and regardless of what its called so I don't see the basic point here...

I think I prefer predators to predator 3 to be honest.
Adding 3 , 4 , 5 , 6. It starts to get a little samey and predictable.

That's always what I figured... I really didn't care for the first AVP movie, but eventually bought one of the HT figures for the quality and the shere fact that it was the only 1/6 Predator (besides the old Medicom one) to buy.

i just think for some pretty unique monster movies they could come up with some better titles. did you see the first James Bond movies go, JamesBond, JAMES BOND2,and then BONDS??

adding 3 to the title will only remind people that there is a 2. and pred 2 is a crappy movie.

predators can remind people of aliens. it's purely a marketing strategy.

A subtitle is much better than a number . I think slapping a number on the title is the filmmakers being lazy i.e. Spider-Man, Lethal Weapon, and Robocop.
