1/6 Why no love from Hot Toys for Rogue One, Cassian, Baze and Saw Gerrera ?

Obviously Jyn and Cassian stopped by on Casual Friday.

Roman Soldiers wore sandals so it's all good.

That’s a good point, but sandals were the height of footwear at that point in time. It’s not like he was portrayed as a spry nimble soldier. He’s all beat up and slow moving so I guess he doesn’t need anything beyond a sandal. I don’t really have an issue with his choice of footwear, just thought it was a funny choice for a grizzled old soldier. Plus this is Star Wars, they’re obviously some sort of super space sandal made for those times you need to be comfy in the middle of a firefight with Deathtroopers.

In the movie, Saw has two different robot feet... so no sandal.

Perhaps that was the original design they decided to change in post due to the skank-foot.

The design of Saw is pretty cool but his character was pretty bad. Any debate is irrelevant anyway because this figure has zero shot at being made by Hot Toys.

It was a damn Christmas miracle that we are getting Krennic.

I recall that's what they were all saying about Krennic before Christmas....

Yes, but not even close to the same thing though. Krennic should been made in the very beginning with Jyn, K2, etc. He was the main villain of the film, created the Death Star, and has the best imperial uniform, and so on. The Saw sequence was just not very good and easily one of the weakest parts of the movie.

Yes, I really don’t think we’ll get Saw. Only if R1 turns out to be a classic in the future - it’s too late for a standard release. Baze on the other hand still has a minor chance as he already has his proto. And we’ll get Cassian when the series premieres.

Fair point, I’ll quit talking about space sandals.

I do believe Krennic finally being made does improve our odds of at least a couple more from line in the future. I do think Cassian will get made once that series drops too. Now if they would start showing Baze at the cons again to let us know they didn’t forget him.

One of the best scenes in the movie where he comes to Baze and the others rescue against the AT-ATs. Just a real "yeah" moment.

Any chance of any release tomorrow? Surely they’ve finished with Infinity War by now (said with no confidence whatsoever!) It would be nice if they at least had Jango Fett and the Airborne Trooper out before SDCC.

Those exclusives should be announced within the next few weeks.

I’m going to go all out positive here (not something common to Star Wars forums) and say we WILL get a Star Wars release tomorrow and it WILL be OT C-3PO and not another bloody Iron Man accessories pack!!!
