It will be spent, and considering I don't buy much for personal luxury outside of Video Games, Sideshow and music products....It will be spent on one or more of those.

Food. Bills. Kids. Wife. House. Collectibles.

In that order.

I'm sure I'll be buying something for myself. Maybe, I'll be able to pick up a p.f. Vader at that time.

:banana

It would go to the first sideshowfreaks baby... boy do we need to buy a lot of stuff

If I get a refund (no guarantee in a country not currently-directly run by Dubya) :angrycanu then it'll probably go to the CC.

Trying to dance with that devil.:devil

If I do get $600 along with my refund, it will go toward traveling to Hawaii for my sister's wedding in August.

Ridiculous.

No, it's going right into the savings account so it can accrue interest that I can use to offset having to send it right back to the IRS next year.

Smart move - I'm doing the same. Fed rate cut be damned.

HELL NO!!!! Sideshow ain't gettin' a penny this year:nono

My tax return is going to Vegas with me to spend on strippers, booze and blow:rock

Actually this might go to me getting an Xbox360... I gotta have something to play GTAIV and Force Unleashed on.

I heard some bad news. I heard this extra tax refund would have to be paid back to the government next year; it will be included in your taxes. This is only a weird loan with a catch that they are failing to explicitly explain. If I were you guys I would put it in an interest bearing account so that when you have to pay it back next year at least you made some profit.

I'm not totaly up on my tax info but doesn't this mean that it isnt? Got it from a story on MSNBC. We don't have state income tax here in WA so I should be home free no matter what.

"The rebate is not taxable at the federal level, and it's unlikely the states would tax it, though that's not entirely clear at this point. "I would think ... the states wouldn't try to tax it," Luscombe said, but recently "they've been decoupling from a lot of this federal silliness" -- so it's unclear what might happen at the state level. "
