Wite Kites Final Book of Eli project completed!

Hey guys as I am sure most of you know I got started here with my accessory sets a little over a year ago and my first project was Book of Eli. Like many others I am a big Denzel fan and this movie was just flat out awesome. I had a blast researching all the parts and looking at reference from the movie and props to make the awesome pieces of my sets. In the time since I started making the kits I probably did about 30 machetes and similar numbers of the other accessories! The kits were a huge success and I am glad that I was able to help out so many other board members complete their customs.

I still quite often receive requests to complete more kits but I have decided that it is now time to retire my Eli kits and stop producing the parts. I love it to death but want to move onto other projects and different kits. I didn't want to end it and just stop I knew I needed to send this off with a bang and that is what I decided to do. So here is a one shot preview of the final Eli thing I will be doing. Its nearly done and is going to be awesome More pics and details will come here real soon once I finish but I hope this will hold you guys over...and please don't be too mad at me for calling Eli quits guys

Wite Kites Final Book of Eli project Finished

Hey guys so here is my final Book of Eli project revealed...as I am sure some of you figured out it is the full Eli figure. I put a lot of work into this custom and I hope it shows! I have to say it is at the top of my list as one of my favorite customs all time. Like I said I wanted to move on to new stuff but I also wanted Eli to go out with a bang.

For the head I used Daniel's awesome head sculpt it is really amazing in hand...and I painted it myself. For his eyes I kind of tried to make them look slightly hazed as if he were blind like in the movie. After the head I just went nuts with the accessories. He has all of the original parts that I made for my kits. The bible, machete, Ipod, necklace, bow, water card, wet naps but I did a little something special for the wet naps there is actually an "open" one as well with a little cloth hanging out. I then also made the accurate shotgun grip customized a pistol to look like the HK45. Modded some Barney Ross sunglasses, got a shall, leather boots, custom coat, back pack (with name tag inside forgot to take a pic tho ), and gave him a canteen! I think thats all for the accessores. Ohh wait and I also did some gloved hands so that he had 3 different sets for posing options.

This figure was a blast to make and I enjoyed every second of it...I am going to actually be sad the day I see him go he's just that cool

everything looks great.....the head sculpt I've seen better but it's still recognizable....swap that HS out with a great one and that figure is top notch....

I like that head. The fig is perfect but could be dirtied up it looks awesome!
