No Classic Pred on order?
I've decided to stick to P1 & P2 collactables only. Might get very expensive adding all the variants.
Got 1 & 2 Dioramas, 1 & 2 LSB's on order and Classic should be out soon. A Predator 2 Statue would also be a must.
Also have Predator on Horse and my grail the CM Predator.

Detail is incredible in that video, no doubt about that.

As awesome as this looks, sideshow could've done real netting and this would've rocked in 1:4 scale as a PF. I would've paid $500 for a PF wolf easily.

I have to agree, but I think the sculpted netting works well here. Plus there's no chance of netting breaking if it's sculpted unless it gets chipped or something.

I'm sure if they used decent quality stuff it would be fine. With all the posing and fussing I've done with all my HT predators, I've yet to suffer any net snapping or breaking as of yet. And now we're talking about a statue here that has no articulated joints. I'm sure it would've been fine. Painted on netting looks fine from far away but when you get up close you can see the fakeness of it.

I am looking directly at my AVPR Wolf Diorama and the netting on it is very well done. It looks, almost real. By the close up shots on this one, the netting looks almost the same. I am fine with the netting as long as its not sloppy. Sloppy netting can totally ruin a piece like this where the lines are pretty critical to looking straight.

Looking at my LS Predator Bust with the real netting. From a distance they both look almost the same. Do not think its an issue for me, long as its painted on right.

I am really digging this line of Predators from Sideshow...the only thing I am not too thrilled about is the Bad Blood Predator only being 1/6 scale and not 1/5 scale like the others. Regardless I Pre-Ordered him anyway as the detailing looks really amazing I would hate myself for backing out of that one.
Right now I think I am going to go ahead and Pre-Order the 1/5 scale Wolf Predator as well. I would order the 1/5 Classic Pred instead but the pose and overall look of the Wolf Pred looks far better to me.
Looks as if it will be a long wait for the Wolf to be released but patience I have.

Sideshow 1/5 scale Alien VS Predator: Requiem Wolf Predator Statue added to my list of Pre-Orders as of just now
I have seriously lost count of how many Sideshow Sculpts I have on Pre-Order no joke,lol...oh do I love Flexpay.
Again looking at both pictures of the 1/5 scale of the Classic Predator and the Wolf and to me the 1/5 scale Wolf Predator looks much better with the way he is posed. The wait on this figure will be a while I am sure but I have a number of other Sideshow collectibles I will be receiving in the meantime between now and when this is released to hold me over.

I am so glad I was talked into getting Sideshow's larger true sculpts otherwise I would still be collecting the 1/6 figures...don't get me wrong I still love many of them and am keeping all my 1/6 scale Predator figures except for the 2 I sold that had the cheaper materials and goofy looking bodies in general.
This will be my second (have the Bad Blood Predator on Pre-Order as well) Predator figure that can be considered a larger true statue type.
These 2 Predators should look stunning in my display room.

Once in hand pictures start being posted I can see the Ex selling out rather quickly, fingers crossed the quality is top notch.
Still the best of the line IMO and the only 'must have' exclusive.

I think so far the elder is the best of the line...in terms of a pose. The classic did nothing for me when I saw it and the wolf is just good enough for me to purchase ( considering I am not getting the LSF )

The thing with the elder is really I no longer own any predator 2 stuff, so it will just kind of be there...where the wolf I can put it right along my other wolf stuff. I am hoping they come out with a really good P2 and I may consider getting the Elder to go with him. Also, it would be awesome to be an AVP-R Warrior Alien to go with wolf .

The classic ( original predator ) is the only one I have looked at and said...nope flat out. Just my opinion of course.

I was about to say the same thing. Maybe they are realizing what EXCLUSIVE should mean. Glad I decided to put my deposit in on one before they decided on this.
