Hey Freaks..Mine Converted also..And it happen on the same day my P1 ex Statue came.And with all the trouble with the paint makes me want to cancel it but like you said 200 is a low number...Have some thinking to do.

Have not opened it yet..Taking it to my local comic store on Saturday where my friend works and he does all my custom paint work.Where going to have the opening then so he can see it in person and figure out what it is going to take to make it right and if it is even worth it.I hope we can because I have the other three Preds on preorder and this size fits my display case perfect..I will let you know the out come.

ex head damaged , the strap from the rifle came off. and theres a bend as well. My 3a ambush was damaged as well..this hobby is getting distressing as hell
the thing is i pay a lot in shipping an customs at least 150 $ in shipping and customs,
i already am stuck with one damaged item before , my reg head from terminator pf was damaged ,sideshow send 2 replacement both came damaged as well , and they offered me 35$ refund.

. Hoping your next purchases turn out okay for you. I have only received one statue broken so far from a second hand seller. I believe it was broken before he sent it though.

I figured, but you can't judge one piece in a line by by another. Take a look for example at the X-men PF line. Gambit compared to Rogue. Anyway this Wolf statue isn't going to be the 87 Pred statue. You have to give it a chance. I think anyone canceling so prematurely on the EX is making a huge mistake considering the ES for the EX is set so low at only 200 and not to mention the Wolf is the most popular badass predator created yet!

I COMPLETELY AGREE, one product is not indicative of everything SSC does. They could be using different factories for each piece etc. The rogue example is a perfect one , the x men PF line as a whole has been fantastic and Colossus who came out after Rogue is Awesome. Dont let one bad experience sour your thoughts completely on SSC. For the most part SSC does release great products.

If it turned out as hoped the rest of them would of probably ended up in my collection at some point.
No Classic means no interest in these anymore.
I really hope these turn out great for you guys.
No one wants to spend hundreds of dollars on a statue to be disappointed.
If SS can still sell items that are lacking in quality that will be the future we can expect.
Any issues need to be addressed, settle for second best and that is what you will get.

Well we opened the P1 statue with all my Bro's at my local Comic shop and I have to say..It is the worst statue I have ever seen.The paint look like Dung,,The masked head did not fit,,The left arm was loose as a goose,,and the box was beat to crap..I called Sideshow today,,And I have to say they were nice as can be,When I told them that I wanted to return it for a refund.This statue really sucks.Right when I opened it I thought of the first Kenner Pred,That is what it looked like..And that is the truth,,Worst thing I have ever seen.What a Mess.But they did give me 100% of my money back,,So I'm greatful for that.

Of course you can, and you should. Sideshow's quality varies so greatly because they utilize many factories in china, and the quality is strictly dependent on the factory. There is very little to no concept of QC guidelines done by the brand itself. Think of it as each factory making their own independent product, because that's exactly what it is - sideshow provides the painted ap example + sculpt cast and that's it. The factories try to copy it, some do it very well, others poorly.
So if the classic 87 looks like this, it's a safe bet the ones that follow wont be any better, since they will be made in the same factory.
Give you another example, the dutch pf turned out great because it's made in the same factory as the joker pf. Both are wins. I know this because there was an dutch(arnie) pf head hidden inside the joker pf base.

Your perception of "great" isn't everyone's perception of great. Frankly I wouldn't even use that word when talking about the Dutch PF. IMO it's no better than the 87 Pred statue. Both have had their share of problems and unsatisfied customers. If you get a good one you're fine but even if you do there's always something one will find in a piece to complain about.
The day there is not is the day I'd use the term "great" in describing a piece. Similar threads
