It might just be the lighting... But I'd say from judging the pics Conputerfly's Unmasked Wolf head sculpt looks more detailed. Jye's yours kinda looks more like a porcelain finish.

Like if you look at the scaring on the inside of the mouth you can see what I'm talking about but at the same time I think it's just the lighting.

I think it is lighting. The color temperature is warm throughout JYE's pics and it's throwing off everything.

ITS SICK!!!!!!

Nick Sculpt But still have netting on the leg :slap

I know, we who can't get over the leg netting! :slap But I don't want it to take away from those who have it, those who are getting it and those who want to get it from enjoying it and admiring it. It's just something we'll never be able to get over. The inaccurate leg netting combined with the outrageous retail price for this thing is the reason behind these feelings. It's just not right IMO for SS to charge that much and get it wrong. But that's my opinion. Other than that it looks to have turned out great!

I'm still considering this. 2K a lot for a PF though. (Call it a LSF, but this is a PF to my eyes)

It's bigger then pf that is for sure , but not 1/3, ss want to make more money that is why made a closer to 1/3 and 4x the price.

ADI knows they are the ones that made it

wtf are you kidding?

NO, ADI would NEVER make a mistake like that, they made the sculpt and painted the prototype which is perfect, it is then handed over(sold) to sideshow. So basically sideshow bought the prototype from ADI instead of making it inhouse using their own artists for this piece, what comes next is all sideshow - they sent it to the chinese factory to duplicate & mass production with no quality control, and that's where the screwup occurred.

I can see how the factory who are not familiar with the source material and no idea what the hell this is can easily make a mistake and add netting to the legs. The break is sideshow didnt bother to supervise production or review the end result.

For a $2000 piece, you would think they will spent just a little more effort than usual (which is zero), but nope. Darth maul lsf is not much better (actually much worse), same with neytiri lsf (another example of perfect sculpt and piss poor execution at the factory). Any temptation i had to pay $2000 for LSF is now completely gone.

I think ppl is starting to realize that this is the long time ago announced Wolf Predator Maquette, same scale that it's predecessor, 1/3.5. People surely forgot this fact but I didn't forget it, they mentioned it times on the Q&A's and Steve Wang said he saw it, always referring it as 'Wolf Maquette'.

Now they finally called it LSF by some geniuses who think that a third of an chopped alien worths another $1000.

ComputerFly, thank you for the gorgeous pics. :hi5:

Despite the netting on the legs pissing me off, I think this is the best paint app I've seen on a Sideshow piece in a long time.

Has anyone who already has this call Sideshow to ask what's going on with the netting on the legs?

The call might be good for 10% off, maybe. Or they might compensate with a gift card, or whatever else.

really nice sculpt on this thing but i hope it looks better in person paint wise..for the price you guys pay for this, the paintjob should be way better than this..lifeless and dry looking..

imagine if Joe Dunaway repaints one of these...

For the price indeed it should have been painted by Joe!

Well people are gladly paying that extra $1000, so I'd say these "geniuses" know what they're doing. :lol

it looks nice but the price is way too high for what you get so easy pass for me , i'll just keep enjoying my predator cinemaquette instead

I agree. I think it came out pretty decent, but it'd have to be absolutely flawless for me to spend two grand on it. I mean painted and sculpted by the predator gods themselves type of flawless.

Not to be a downer, but in most of these photos the face looks incredibly bland and lifeless to be honest. I never would have paid two grand for this, but I at least expected it to come out a bit better.
