WOW!
Great photos CF!!

This is IMO the best Predator statue that i have seen by a mile, If the CM is selling for between $3500 and $4000 at the moment, i have no complaints about the $2000 price tag on this one.
IMO this one hits the CM out of the park, fluid motion of the sculpt and all the killer detail, not to mention all of the extra's.
I don't dislike the netting on the legs either ( OK not correct to the film ) but still looks good. If it was a choice of the CM for $2000 or the Wolf LSF for $2000, i would still plumb for the LSF. This is just my opinion and no haters please. ( Mine is on the way :) ):hi5:

Its all a matter of opinion and you should not really care what others think of something you buy. Congrats on the purchase...even with the flaws it is still a great piece. I had been off and on with getting this but with the netting on the legs I am nearly 99% sure now that I will not be getting it. Who knows...I may get a bug one day after seeing all the in-hand pics. $2000 is a tough pill to swallow for people like me on a budget. If I had unlimited income, id pick it up even with the flaws. For my 2k and having to really think my purchases through... I expect near perfection.

I agree with you, CM is still a great piece but its a static pose, wolf pose is the best ive seen and the head of the wolf awesome.

ADI knows they are the ones that made it

wtf are you kidding?

NO, ADI would NEVER make a mistake like that, they made the sculpt and painted the prototype which is perfect, it is then handed over(sold) to sideshow. So basically sideshow bought the prototype from ADI instead of making it inhouse using their own artists for this piece, what comes next is all sideshow - they sent it to the chinese factory to duplicate & mass production with no quality control, and that's where the screwup occurred.

I can see how the factory who are not familiar with the source material and no idea what the hell this is can easily make a mistake and add netting to the legs. The break is sideshow didnt bother to supervise production or review the end result.

For a $2000 piece, you would think they will spent just a little more effort than usual (which is zero), but nope. Darth maul lsf is not much better (actually much worse), same with neytiri lsf (another example of perfect sculpt and piss poor execution at the factory). Any temptation i had to pay $2000 for LSF is now completely gone.

Exactly which is why I asked. I think ADI would be face palming after hearing about the netting SSC didn't catch when the prototype was fine.

My gripe is that this isn't in scale with any other statues. It's not 1/2 scale like the other LSF's supposedly are, so I thought great, it's 1/3 and will be in scale with CM...but no. 1/3.5 scale, WTF?

In Chris' video, he pulls the whip out of the hand.. it isn't supposed to be loose like that, it should be glued in.
