Screw that.....I would just leave it as is. It looks better without but no risk in ruining it

netting could be tighter. The mine belt is adjustable on where you want it on his shoulder and back. I saw where i can put it to make it more tight. no issue there. I think the paint is pretty good. I am glad its flat paint and not shiny paint which i hate. But still not worth $2000. IMO, I still like it more than the CM. Im tired of of having museum pose or 1 knee up statues. This has a wow factor in person.

This is why I like the Tracker and Falconer Predator 1/5 Maquettes. They were very dynamic and had lots of expression to them. The Beserker I would have preferred in a more upright pose.

compared to the Death LSF, it's hard to justify a 1k increase just cause of an ADI name stamped on it. Death is just as detailed.....

wolfs right. if you cant see it then maybe not a big deal. kinda bothered me.

I can tell from the pic the tooth is slanting right or inwards , which makes the mouth unbalanced . It will disturb me too if mine comes like that, why not ask for head replacement?

This piece has so much anticipation and expectation and the sculpt is easily a home run for SS , but the stupid netting mistake becomes an own goal instead

Nah, that member didn't know what he was talking about. He claimed it can be done in 15 minutes with a pair of scissors... without even first seeing how the netting is attached.

For the price you paid, you should also ask for head relief.

It is not that easy. some of the netting is actually glued into the knee area. might have some pits after. It can be done but i think you would need a lot of patience to remove all the netting and not showing any evidence that it was there. this was a quick glance. i will look tomorrow when there is more natural light in the room.

Unless you plan a full repaint, you won't be removing the netting. It's glued down in places all along the legs. You would be removing some serious chunks of paint if you remove the netting. I think that is why there is such a heavy coat of dullcote all over this thing.. to help cover up the shiny super glue they used on the nets.

I already asked for a new head. Waiting on their reply from the retail store i got it from.

when I look at these pictures, I would compare the detail and size to the "lurtz" piece, and he wasn't even 1K, and that piece is big, heavy and super detailed, I just don't see why this was 2K, at best 1K would have been reasonable to pay for this, maybe if I was on the loaded side I would get it, but man, 2K, thats tough for a collectible.

I compare this to the $300 statue line and think this is a no-brainer.

This thing doesn't worth 2k. Its the same size than sauron PF and nothing special about painting at all. At that price, I would think they would take their top gun Chinese painter and make it like it deserves the legendary scale name.

I'm happy that sauron is at 900 $. I'll get the same quality for half the price.

It doesnt look much smaller in that pic then the CM, The Maquette isnt a small piece when I owned it to. Awesome.
